How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

All good
A unique B&B Clean, comfortable with a relaxed vibe. Lovely hosts. We were getting a morning flight from nearby Pisa International airport. A range of breakfast options was available and good coffee. Would recommend La Corte di Stello to friends and family.

Nothing, everything was great!
The B&B is in an excellent location - the airport is just a 5 minutes walk, the town centre is 20 minutes away if you fancy the walk, or the bus stop outside has a bus that takes you right there, and it's every 10 minutes. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly, they told us all about how to move around the area and you can purchase bus tickets directly from reception. Breakfast was great and offered a lot of options, and the room was very clean and spacious. Although we were next door to the airport, we couldn't hear the planes at all and we slept very well.

We arrived late (after 11 pm) but this was no problem and our apologies were dismissed with a smile. Accommodation was spacious, comfortable and spotlessly clean. Great parking in a secure car park across the road.

Very nice owner who explained everything to us. The accommodation is an easy 10 minute (max) walk from Pisa airport so ideally located for late arrivals or early departures. The room had all you needed. There are facilities for making drinks all day in the breakfast/eating area downstairs as well as a microwave you can use. There is lots of tourist information about the area too. We found it to be a great place to stay and would stay again.

To get into the city a ride on the underground/metro was necessary. We only needed a place to stay for one night, and the B and B did that, so we were satisfied with it.
A good welcome. It was raining when we arrived but our host kindly lent us an umbrella. Recommended a nearby Pizzeria, and the recommendation was well deserved. Breakfast in the morning was all that was needed, and despite struggling with English, the lady of the house happily helped us make the coffee machine work. Very well situated near to the airport.

Location was an easy walk from the airport & Pisa square of miracles. Hosts were wonderful & very accommodating. Highly recommend this for a stay in Pisa.

Great location, loved being able to walk to the airport. Loads of space, great shower, nice towels. Great guy on reception, sorry I can’t remember his name but he was really helpful, gave us great recommendation for restaurant also.

Lovely B&B in a convenient location, only a 5 minute walk to Pisa airport. The double room was beautiful, use of the courtyard in the evening for dinner was fantastic and the owner was very helpful upon arrival.

I wanted to be close to the airport and the location couldn't have been better. For those who want to visit the tourist attractions, it's a 40-minute walk away. The room is very good and very large, as is the bathroom. The minibar is huge. We liked everything.

A little noise from the nearby main road might affect light sleepers.
If you need to stay near the airport, stay here. Friendly and accommodating owners. Clean room with everything needed. Super breakfast.
