Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. PolandEverything was on the top level! No problems only good feelings.
Everything was wonderful! Very cozy and convenient apartment. We had two rooms for 2 persons. 1 person had one room. The owner helped us in everything. We have 2 flights deleted (to Sardinia and back to Poland) and all the time the owner helped us. If we can put 100 as a mark on booking we will do it! Thank you so much for such a wonderful vacations. Hope that next year we will come back on Sardinia and of course we will take this apartment! Elisa and Franco thank you so much for your host and help! Love you!❤

GermanyI liked everything in the apartment.The reviews were not lying.We were lucky to have the whole apartment just for us.The host was very friendly.She gave us special mats for the beach which we would normally need to buy by ourselves and there were also umbrellas against the sun which we could use,which also saved us a lot.The host was very caring and gave us a lot of good recommendations .We have also received a beer and some sweets once she got to know my friend had a birthday.It was really a very pleasant stay in a very comfortable and very clean apartment.

PolandExcellent location, close to supermarkets, petrol station and city centre. The owner is really helpful and takes fantastic care of her guests, contact was fast and without any problems. Apartment is very clean and has all necessary equipment. Sweet breakfast was provided every day. Surely recommend this place to stay in Alghero.

The location was really satisfying. Contact with the host was perfect. The apartment was really clean and well prepared for our stay, so many thanks for the whole stay! The breakfast stuff was replenished and nothing was missing during our all stay there!

BelgiumWe expected this to be a bed and breakfast, but sadly it turned out to be more of an Airbnb. The booking said breakfast was included, but what this turned out to be was a basket of small cookies and mini pastries, along with some dry toast and some jam. Very much not what we expected when “breakfast was included” – obviously breakfast mentality varies across countries, but we had higher expectations than just a basket of things. We ended up going to the supermarket 5 minutes away every morning to get something more nourishing to eat.
Clean ground floor flat, with a spacious bedroom and decent kitchen (Oven was broken, we were not planning on using it anyway). The bathroom was equally clean and well-equipped. Plenty of amenities provided. Kind and friendly host that gave us helpful tips about the area and restaurants.
