Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomThe room is on the first floor and unfortunately there is no natural light
The room I stayed in was lovely, very spacious and with all the comforts. The bathroom very big as well and with a very nice design. The communal kitchen was very cute, my breakfast table had the same colours of my room, napkins and water bottle included. Lovely! The hosts were very kind and always available for help and support during my stay. I recommend this place 100%

New ZealandNothing I could think of except we would have loved to stay longer! A slight shame that the place doesn't have an outside space for guests to use in the hotter months but it is very close to tree lined piazzas, cafes and restaurants.
Beautifully designed and presented rooms in a well renovated characterful building. We were greeted on arrival by the cheerful flower display outside. Trigu and Mangoni is located on a beautiful quiet plant-lined, historic street in the Villanova area. It is a short walk from Bastione San Remy and the historic quarter of Cagliari. Hosts Riccardo and Igor have thought of everything and designed a stylish accomodation that maintains the charater of the building and meets any traveller's needs. We stayed in the spacious 3bed Trigu (Sard dialect for ear of wheat) 'yellow' room which has a good sized modern ensuite bathroom with power shower and plenty of towels and toiletries. Comfortable large bed and plenty of room for luggage. There is a kitchen breakfast area shared between the 2 guest rooms with a typical Italian breakfast of coffee, juice, a fresh croissant, yoghurt and other sweet packaged goodies provided each morning. There is a coffee maker, fridge, microwave, and plenty of tourist information. Everything is spotlessly clean and new. Great wi-fi available and a desk which was helpful for work meetings whilst staying there. The hosts are great at communicating and sending useful information ahead of time, as well as recommendations for visits and dining options. They speak good English and can be contacted any time via Whatsapp. There is a foolproof entry code system when you arrive. There is a bus stop very near to the property if you need it. Note if you have a hire car, you cannot directly park at the accomodation as it is in the traffic controlled historic area. There are parking buildings a short walk away if needed. We chose to drop our car off as we drive into Cagliari and taxi in to the centre. No car needed in central Cagliari, much easier to walk or get taxis and door-to-door minibus transport to the airport, which the hosts can arrange for you with 24hrs notice. A lovely stay in a characterful part of the city close to sights.

Romania-the property is in the Villanova’s district, which is a time restricted zone - arriving late by car with luggage can be a struggle, but they do inform you in advance and suggest an alternative
-clean rooms and bathrooms, as well as nicely decorated -breakfast was good, with plenty of options (ours was both sweet and salty, as requested) -they provide beach towels and umbrellas for free -we followed some of their restaurant recommendations and were not disappointed

United KingdomIt may have been a bit noisy with the kitchen right next to the bedrooms but we did not experience any issues.
Our room was stunning and huge. The fact we could use the small kitchen for drinks, food if we wanted and there was a fridge and water available was great. Location was excellent- shame we didn’t know how lovely our local area was until the last night. The bathroom was fabulous with a great shower.

PolandThe only downside at room Mangoni is the noise from the passing cars and bar nearby
Super nice and helpful hosts, stylish room, sense of independence (thanks to entrance door with the code), all day coffee machine access, short walk from restaurants and bars. They even provide towels & thermal bag for the beach. Grazie per le vacanze indimenticabili!

SloveniaProximity of the road to room mangoni is really close so the cars that drive by wake you up if you are a light sleeper. This is just a minimal dislike of the room, if there was some better isolation the room would be 10/10 instead of 9.9/10
Very modern and cosy, the property feels very safe. Staff is very friendly.

PolandThe water temperature under the shower was kinda funky. It was not possible for the teo of us to wash with hot water, te second person always have had cold water only. And the hot water was never really super warm. Also if you are not a fan of hiking consider, that the B&B is placed on the s hill, lots of walks up and down. It said on the cards that our linens will be replaced after three nights, however they werent at all. The room was unfortunately quite dark due to the lack of true windows. The lights always had to be on
The breakfasts vere definitelly the Peak of this B&B, we never left hungry and the selection of Food was complex and not boring. Also the bed was very comfortable
