Francesca is the kindest host in the world. :) She was very helpful from the beginning, during check in she gave me many tips about restaurants or what I should see in Monopoli. I chose an Italian breakfast which was delicious: a croissant and multiple jams made by her mom, juice, fruits, sweets (I got addicted to them), all home made. Her whole family is very friendly, they even helped me and picked me up from Alberobello when the last bus left and I had no other option to get back to Monopoli! It was very nice stay, the apartment is very comfortable. I definitely recommend it!

I really enjoyed staying at this b&b in Monopoli - the apartment is clean and comfortable, in the very centre of old town but in a calm charming street, with a nice balcony. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. I definitely recommend it:)

Francesca and Antonia were super helpful. Picked us up from train station, patiently waited. At apartment we’re very helpful, accommodating. Couldn’t ask for better. The B&B location was excellent, near everything!

Everything was perfect!

Quiet, Clean & comfortable. Perfect location. Our wonderful host Francesca brought us breakfast every morning! Her beautiful art work is displayed throughout the apartment! A lot of love and attention to detail in this apartment! It was 2 bedrooms and each had their own private bathroom outside of the bedroom. This worked perfect for us. Francesca friendliness and attentiveness made our stay in Monopoli awesome! Thank you again for everything!

We loved everything. The apertment is so sweet and cosy and was decorated with great taste and talent specialy for Xmas by Francesca who was also intouch with us during the whole stay, especially in the mornings when she came to prepare breakfast for us. Was fun to get to know her and recieve tips from her as to where to visit and eat. She even gave us a card that saves us 10% in a few resturants we visited. The apartment is in a perfect location when staying in the old part of town. And what an amazing town Monopoli is. Being set between Bari and Locorotondo and Alborebelo, Its' location in perfect. It's was a short holiday but one of the best we had in a last few years. Thanks to you Francesca.

the location was exceptional. the personal touches made to the apartment as well as getting to know Francesca really made the week. breakfast each morning was lovely along with the homemade jam. couldn’t fault anything about our stay, we look forward to coming back to Monopoli.

Our favourite B&B stay in Puglia. A lovely apartment and hosts. We walked everywhere from the apartment - perfectly located to reach the best restaurants and the beach on foot. Breakfast was great and Francesca gave some great local recommendations. The apartment is so spacious, great balcony and we would have loved to have stayed longer if we could! 10/10!

The apartment is located in the heart of the historical city of Monopoli. Perfectly clean, very tastefully designed, extremely comfortable bed. The hosts are the best- very helpful and friendly, easy to reach, speak fluent English. The beach is 10 minutes by foot, nearby there are lots of shops and restaurants, the railway station of Monopoli is 15-20 mnutes by foot. The best part was the Italian style breakfast- home made jams, croissants, italian espresso, fresh squished orange juice...Perfect! Highly recommend B&B U Mare Mio for a longer stay! Grazie mille Francesca! Will definetely visit again!

I absolutely loved everything!

Francesca was amazing! Super nice and willing to help, offered all the information we needed, gave us a car ride to train station when we left. She offered us complimentary fruits from her family orchard and her own drawing as a souvenir! My daughter loved her and we had the feeling that we are staying at friends, she was more than a host! The property is very nice decorated, right in the middle of the old town, on a very traditional street, where in the morning you can smell the frech bread from the bakery near by and the in evening you can watch the "nonnas" chatting from their balconies.

The bathrooms were very small and with low ceilings making it a little difficult for tall people like us. The stairs are quite steep and tricky with suitcases but doesn’t detract from the overall experience.

It was a traditional cosy apartment in the heart of old town Monopoli close to all the attractions. The host Francesca was lovely and multi-talented with her artistry and cooking skills. She gave us some great tips and shared some stories about the history of her apartment and the town.

It would have been nice to have a comfy sofa to sit on in the lounge area. If you have heavy suitcases it could be a challenge lifting them up the stairs.
