Unfortunately we only had one night in Orvieto!

We enjoyed our stay at Fausto’s place in Orvieto. It was clean and comfortable and close to town which was perfect for us. It was a bonus to have a parking spot. We hurried off to see the famous well of Saint Patrick and the Duomo which Fausto recommended right after we checked in. Amazing! We stayed in one room and a friend that travelled with us stayed in another. Both were very unique! It was nice to have a common area inside and outside to visit. Fausto's eye for period-authentic decoration is terrific. Loved it!

Funicular was easy to find then got on line C bus as told. Bus driver not helpful and had no idea of the Piazza Corsica where the host told us to get off at. Dropped us at an unmarked square and waved us off saying its near. Well it may have been but without wifi or map we soon got lost. An hour later lugging our bags and after getting to duomo information centre and getting a map we finally found apartment. If only host had just said walk from funicular about 800m along scenic paved walkway to a children's playground. That is the apartment building beside it. No electric jug to make our own hot drinks in afternoon or evening. 2 flights of stairs to carry luggage up. No glasses available, no clothes line or drying rack.

Great location once we actually found it. Coffee machine available from 7am to 11am. Host gave us a good map and recommended restaurants. Lovely shared terrace and library space by loft room. Great to have a frig. Great restaurant nearby ...Trattoria del Moro. Saturday Market in Piazza del Popolo. Got an Orvieto ticket senior discount for 20 Euro to see most sites and museums. Lovely town.

There were four flights of stairs. Not usually an issue, but we did have two carry-ons and a medium size checked bag.

Owner was really kind, friendly and helpful. He actually drove around to find us when we were lost. Directions weren't the greatest. Room was very nice--good value!

The bathroom was a little cramped & the fridge didn't work properly.

The room had some very interesting features & the bed was comfortable. The location was excellent, close to restaurants & shops. The bathroom had a big bath & the hot water was good. We also enjoyed the small shared terrace outside our room. Fausto the owner was very friendly & helpful. Can recommend!

Was a lot of stairs up to the suite.....had to pack a smaller overnight bag from the car

Apple map navigation to the location was incorrect. We had to contact Fausto for directions, which were easy to follow.

Characteristic old-town accommodation within walking distance of all the sights. Comfortable and well-furnished, like being a guest in somebody's home, especially with the lovely adjoining library. Having a parking space at the property was a plus point and Fausto was very helpful in directing us there. Also appreciated getting a town map of the main sights from him.

Fausto was a little hard to reach. Very nice person, once in person. But I had to make repeated phone calls in order to make contact so as to organize the details of my arrival. If I may, I recommend that he becomes a little more proactive: a phone call or a text message from the owner in the morning of the arrival is always welcome and reassuring to travellers.

Excellent location, very nice room, with the bonus of a little outdoors from which to enjoy city views and breathe in the sunshine. Downtown just steps away. Added benefit: private parking.

Climbing 3 floors with suitcases (we are seniors). Wish we had known that prior. Bed sheet didn’t quite fit the bed & no mattress protector on the bed. Breakfast ended up being a biscuit & machine tea/coffee. Not what we thought it would be.

Location was excellent. Secure building. Room quirky with vintage pieces.

We stayed only 1 night. Everything was great.

The property was very spacious. The library area is very unique and inviting. It was also a nice treat having access to the upper deck. The place is a gem and so beautiful.
