Hopefully this was just an oversight in our room, but there was no top sheep. That meant needing to make up and either cover up with or remove the comforter all night. Really a shame sine the mattress was so comfortable.

This was a very pleasant surprise. thw 2 km drive diwn a dirt was well worjth it. Very nice facitliry. Clean, quiet, beautiful area and views, comfortable bed and a very nice breakfast. The fact that there were sscreens on the windows meant we could have fresh air in the room without insects.We would have very much liked to have extended our stay.

Secluded, in the middle of nowhere, we loved the fresh air amidst of olive trees and forests. A perfect escape into the Tuscan countryside with amazing food at their restaurant. The rooms are clean and cozy.

The location is a little difficult to reach but that applies to many locations in this area. To reach the property, you need to drive on an unpaved gravel road. It would be awesome if that road is paved one day.

Very nice place. Owner and staff are very friendly. Two nice swimming pools. Great selection at the breakfast buffet. Stunning views. Comfortable and spacious rooms/living area.

We had an issue with the heating in the room, however the staff solved it quickly when asked.

We absolutely loved the stay at Borge Iesolana. The place is magical, food excellent and the staff very helpful and caring.

Only issue was that the aircon in the room didn't work very well. It couldn't cope with setting at a comfortable, low level, and was noisy. Also no aircon in the living room. Also to be aware that some rooms have outdoor areas, but our room only had a shared terrace area, which was meant a lack of privacy if you wanted to sit outside. There were a few horse flies also by the pool which were annoying, but not a big problem.

Fabulous place. Amazing pool and lovely property with fantastic views. The staff were excellent. We were a bit worried on arrival to find lots of families with young children and associated noise, but the property strictly ensure one pool for adults and one for younger children, which was brilliant. The dinner at the restaurant was good, though not exceptional. Breakfast was very good. Highlight was definitely the pool, especially early and late when there were very few other people.

That we had to leave,

Our first visit to Italy. A wedding in Bu ine brought us to find Borgo Iesolana. When I say Magnifique! It was everything you imagine Tuscany would be and more. Fabulous villa. Beautiful views, manicured property, quiet, amazing breakfast and dinner o relooking the Tuscan hills. Grandma’s meatballs , the chicken and the pesto Buratta Raviolli- best we’ve ever had. We will be back- you should go. And and for Carlo to drive you. He is now our friend for life!

Check in at 4pm and check out at 10 am is really stretching it to the very max of what is acceptable. It would be nice to see at least 11 or 12 check out for a resort hotel.

I would like to point out that the points mentioned here, were no problem for us, but might be an issue for some guests. The walls and ceilings of the buildings were in our case not able to cancel the noises from our neighbours. You can hear every discussion, doors being closed, every jump their kids made. That prevented our toddler from sleeping in some cases, but was not a real big issue for us. However for some guests that might be disturbing. The road to the premises is not asphalted, quiet dusty, but I have seen much worse here in the region. If you have a normal car, you will not have any trouble in my opinion. As many others already mentioned, breakfast is good, but could have a bit more variety. In many cases they run out of scrambled eggs or crispy bacon and it takes quiet some time until they refill the buffet. So if other guests mention that before why don't you work on that?

The premises are extraordinary and the location beautiful with exceptional views. Staff was helpful, kind and tried their best to make our wishes come true. Rooms are well equipped with everything you need. When travelling with kids, cots and high chairs can be provided. Nights were still quiet cold during our stay and we were very thankful that heating up our rooms was no problem. That is not always the case when booking accomodations in Tuscany. If you are looking for a place which equals the ones you see in movies about Tuscany, this might be worth having a look. We enjoyed our time and the relaxed atmosphere here a lot. The mix of families, young couples and other groups seemed to work very well during our stay as there is enough space for everyone, including two pools. We have had an excellent stay and would indeed come back one day.

Amazing place. Beautifully refurbished small borgo in the peace and quiet of the Toscana hills. The best outdoor facilities I’ve seen so far, with a sunbed here and an arm chair there, so everyone can pick their favourite spot in sun or shadow / privacy or company. Very high quality of food at breakfast with local products all around. The road to the hotel is a dust road for the last mile, but if you drive carefully you can do it with any car.

I feel the breakfast options could be a bit more extended. Just a recommendation that adding more large cypress trees would be just amazing.

The property is very classy set in a traditional toscano style. The location, atmosphere and landscape are breathtaking. The rooms are big, beautiful and comfortable. They also have a good restaurant with pool with panoramic views.

I can only complain about the weather. :)

It is a very quiet place, with amazing view. Located very close to Florence and Sienna. If someone wants to come down and have some break from towns, it is definitely a good choice . Also, people who work there are super nice. Definitely, we will come back!
