Best staff in Rome, the place itself is an ancient house with a beautiful fountain, incredible. The common areas are comfortable and inviting. Highly recommend it

I liked everything

The location of the facility was close to everywhere. I walked along the Tiber River to the Vatican, and walked to the Trevi Fountain also. My bed was very comfortable, the toilet and bathroom were very clean. I constantly filled my drinking water bottle from the purifier. I stayed in the same room with the other 3 young girls who were wonderful people. The receptionists were very friendly and helpful. I never felt like a stranger, I felt at home. I plan to stay at Borgo Ripa whenever I go to Rome.

this is my first time go to rome eventhough I stayed in Italy for a one year. The location is very very good, it close to a lot of visiting palecs, you can go anywhere by foot. the staff were also very kind. By the way, the price is very cheap, I don't know why, actually I choose the hotel because of the cheap price, but when I arrived, it was over my expectation.

Bathroom stalls didn’t have a lock but I didn’t mind since it wasn’t busy and there were plenty.

Good location, very clean even the bathrooms were cleaner than in a hotel. Bed was comfortable. It wasn’t too busy when I stayed there so it was nice socially but also very silent at night which I prefer. It was my first time in a dormitory and it was the best experience at the same time. It was great that there were no bunk beds and instead they had just single beds made it more comfortable and spacious.

We were in a very bad situation as we spent the first night in Rome ou on the street, on a flight of stairs, as our previous apartment managers gave us wrong codes and we had no place to go! After hours on the phone with booking, we called Borgo Ripa about a relocation and we were kindly answered by Lorenzo and he was amazing!!! We were greeted with a big smile, he was so kind, helped us out, gave us an amazing room and let us get in right away! It really changed the game for us as we were so tired, mad and sad and it was a breathe of fresh air for us! The place is like a small villa in the middle of Rome, close to the center, nothing fancy but very stilish, super cozy and with and amazing river view! We really loved our stay and I would recommend to anyone that wants to have a cozy and comfortable experience! Thanks again to Lorenzo - you are the best 🙏

You expect it to be a hostel but what you get is a hostel in an antique villa compound which was a oleasant surprise. My private room was very clean, it had a high vaulted ceiling, some historic details and I was really sarisfied with it. Located just next to Tevere river and a nice jog away from Vatican and the Hadrian's mausoleum. Be sure to save time to explore the adjacent villa.

The shower has no locks and is very tiny + no hanger to hang towels/store our toiletries inside the shower stalls. Some toilets also have no locks.

Location was super cool inside a museum, I feel like I'm walking inside a mansion haha. Staff was nice, they let me store my luggage after check out. Room was really clean and spacious, I booked a 4 person dorm but inside there were only 3 beds which was better. There's a plug for each beds too which is nice and a locker but bring your own locks!

Extremely Disappointing Stay in Italy – Would Not Recommend My stay in Italy, particularly in Rome, was a major letdown and one of the worst experiences of my trip. I had high hopes, given the country’s rich history and charm, but the accommodation completely ruined it for me. Accommodation: The hostel was far from satisfactory. The rooms were cramped and poorly ventilated, and the cleanliness standards were unacceptable. The bathrooms were dirty, and basic facilities like hot water and clean towels were inconsistent. It felt like no effort was made to ensure guest comfort. Atmosphere: The hostel lacked any sense of community or hospitality. Unlike other hostels I stayed at during my trip, this one offered no events or opportunities to meet other travelers. It felt cold and uninviting, which was disappointing in a city known for its vibrant culture. Service: The staff was indifferent and unhelpful. When I asked for assistance or recommendations, I was met with disinterest. It seemed like they were just going through the motions without any real concern for the guests’ experience. Overall Experience: This was by far the worst accommodation of my entire trip. It overshadowed what should have been an amazing experience in a beautiful country. I absolutely do not recommend this hostel to anyone planning a trip to Rome. Save yourself the frustration and look for better accommodation options. This was a waste of time and money, and I left Italy feeling disappointed and let down.

The shower room was extremely small. How can one step in without clothes or wrapped towel without getting wet? There was no place to hang clothes or towel. The room was on the 2nd floor which was a bit too ouch to climb after I got there tired

They were very friendly to us. They were there for us in everything we needed. We even handled difficult situations regarding reservations with ease and flexibility.

The window in the bathroom didn't have a curtain so everyone outside could see you naked. Room service didn't lock the door after cleaning and left our room open the whole day (with all of our stuff inside). The bed didn't have proper bedsheets, just a sheet that didn't cover the duvet.

Location was great, you could walk to many nice places in just 10 minutes. The room was very big with good views and lots of natural light.

Do not book in this hostel. I booked with them 3 nights When I arrived to check in, the agent informed me that no rooms available in the first night which made me book in another hotel and pay for the reservation The manager never showed up or responded to my request regarding claiming the refund

First night the sheets were dirty, there was tomato sauce and hair on the floor. Also in the hallway. The bins in the batroom were overflowing with rubbish.

Beautiful location, outside and also inside. Also the property was safe guarded by a fence with code. Friendly staff, very willing to support.

A very dismissive attitude from two recessionists. A girl from the reception who was constantly playing with her phone, and ignored the customers when they asked her about the breakfast or anything else related to staying in the hostel. This is unacceptable for the hostel staff.

No locks on toilet stalls, shower area was communal with just doors separating shower from room with no lock. No where to put clothes in shower just hook outside of shower. Room sparsely furnished with beside table between 2 and no bedside light, table or chairs. Noise of traffic was constant and loud.

Within good walking distance of most major sights in Rome and many restaurants.
