Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

SpainThe whole property was equipped with all the appliances one might need when travelling and even more. The room was really cosy and fashionable, very clean and taken care of. Even the coffee capsules were refilled every day! The Amalia was very warm and friendly, helping us when we had questions and even arranging a taxi to go to the airport. I'd definitely stay there again on my next trip to Rome!

United StatesNothing!
The room was so cute! It looks like they remodeled a large apartment into a miniature hotel. The location is great, only a 8 minute walk to the Vatican and surrounded by bars and hotels. Check out the Alexanderplatz Jazz Bar. The host also gave us a list off things to do and places to eat, all of which were great.

United KingdomNo huge issues at all, just consider that the location is closer to the Vatican so you'll have to metro/bus into the city for other attractions. Also the pillows were a little firm for us, but likely a personal preference! One suggestion would be to provide drinking water daily or a filtered tap in the kitchen :)
The hosts and Francesca were really lovely and friendly, they allowed us to check in early (which made a huge difference to our day after an early flight!) they also helped me set up the room for valentines and were so helpful with info about the city & local area. The bed was large and the room was a great size for the two of us. Everything was clean and nicely set up.

United StatesThe unit was immaculately clean, and a mini fridge in the room made it easy to store my fruits, salads and water. The in room tea kettle and fast internet made my stay more comfortable and convenient. The location was perfect, with easy access to attractions (Vatican), restaurants, public transportation, etc. It made exploring the area a breeze (got to get those steps in). And lastly the hosts, Nicoletta and Amalia were both a delight to meet. They offered suggestions for the area and reached out to me to make sure I was enjoying Rome and to check if I was in need of anything. This made me feel very welcomed and I appreciated this from them. Thank you both for making this an easy and tranquil stay🤗

CyprusThere is a shared kitchen that can be used by everyone in the rooms, and although it was very clean and tidy, it was not very comfortable for us - especially since we were traveling with our kids and needed an area for eating and snacking. Also the room was very small for four people. It is a lovely space for a couple or a family with a small child but it was not as comfortable for a family of four. In addition to this, there was not enough space for towels for four people and the toilet was leaking. Although there are several buses that run regularly to the old city of Rome, if you are in Rome for only a couple of days and traveling with kids, then this is not the ideal location.
The room was very clean and in a very good location in a walking distance from the Vatical city and close to several nice restaurants and coffee shops. It was not very close to the old city of Rome, but there are several buses that run regularly and which are 2 minutes walk from the room. The hosts were very kind and helpful with instructions for a late check in - which was really easy - and helping us with navigating the city. We could also leave our luggages in a common area after check out and until our afternoon flight.

FranceLocated in a modern building a few blocks north of the Vatican, the place is well-covered by public transportation and is close to a breathtaking basilica that I recommend visiting after you are settled in. We were directed on the phone into the appartment by the owner Amalia who took her time to explain everything about the suite. The suite was clean and small but we were there for just the one night, and it had enough facilities and omfort to make it worthwhile

CroatiaEverything was great. The only thing that we noticed was some kind of occasional smell in the bathroom, maybe from the ventilation or the sink. However, everything was exceptionally clean (which is really important to us), so it didn't really bother us. Keep up the good work and thank you for everything Amalia and Francesca :)!
We stayed for 4 nights in June 2024. Amalia, the host, was just so great and so friendly. Although we didn't have the chance to meet her in person, she was always available on the phone and helped us with the self-check-in upon our arrival. The metro station (Cipro) is only about a 6-minute walk from the accommodation, so we had no problem walking there even with our luggage. The place is located in a building on the ground floor and has several rooms along with a common area that includes a small kitchen, fridge, kitchen table, etc. However, as most guests were either in their rooms or out, the common area was mostly empty. The entire place were VERY clean and smelled great, as Francesca cleaned daily from 9-12. You can choose if you want her to clean your room or skip it for the day. The room has AC, electric blinds, and bars on the windows, so we felt very safe even with the window open. The bed was comfortable and there was a TV with endless channels. Additionally, you have your own coffee maker with capsules and a kettle with a few teas to select from. In the mini fridge, there was cold water waiting for us, which was a lifesaver as it was very hot in Rome. The WiFi was also good. The towels in the bathroom were soft, and we even got them replaced earlier than expected, although the rule is every 3 days. You get shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, so you don't have to bring your own. We needed an iron and got one from the common area. It was a steam iron and worked great. As for the location, it was very quiet, so we had no problem sleeping. The historic center is a little far, but still technically walkable. We used buses and the metro and walked to the Vatican since it was quite close and had no problems with anything. When we arrived, Amalia sent us a handbook in PDF with all the information we needed: check-in, check-out, rules, WiFi, restaurant recommendations, and more. It was a nice touch and helped us very much!

AustriaOnly slight issue for people with baby strollers that at main entrance you must lift the stroller up and the main door to the suits is not wide enough to bring the stroller inside without folding. Also the shower sometimes seemed to not supply warm water.
Very clean and spacious room with nice choice of furniture and it's colors. Beds were very comfortable and it also had air conditioner. The location is good, not too busy street and Metro station within 8-10 minutes walk. The hosts are fantastic and friendly
