No AC does leave you open to mosquitoes through the necessarily open windows, though an electric insect repeller was provided

The room is a good size with high ceiling, nice light, huge bed. You can open both sets of doors to the stone Juliet balcony which overlooks a quiet square with a very good locals’ restaurant. The owner is helpful, communicative and accommodating

20/10. Exceeded expectations and then some. Comfortable with room to spread and relax. Felt like home but we were not actually staying in the accommodation we originally booked. Upgraded to an apartment beside Rialto bridge. The helpfulness of our accommodation provider, who went above and beyond on behalf of two old ladies who haven't traveled before. Wonderful English. On arrival in Rialto, he met us at the ferry and escorted us to the apartment. Gave recommendations of sights to visit and also restaurants. Checked ferry timetables and went over our departure route to the airport.

Alex is a great host and a great person who tries you to feel comfortable all the time and helps you with extra information you need about cafes, restaurants, places to go. Also, he has the place really clean and organised and he creates a really nice environment with the people who stay in.

The place was wonderful. Not only did it have a great location, but it was very quiet. The host was friendly and kind, and had a lot of recommendations for what to do and where to eat. Overall, it was a very good experience and I would stay there again!

Alex is lovely and so helpful, gave us local recommendations and came by everyday to make sure the apartment stays clean. Rooms are big, beds are comfortable. Shared Bathroom was not a problem as everyone used it at different times. Great location

Ideal location to the city visit the city in all direction without taking any transport. Alex, the property owner, is very welcoming, he was present as needed and was super helpful in providing tips about eating places, events happening in the city etc. He is really a super host!

Some people in the reviews have mentioned the shower floods the room, however if you don’t have it on full and close the curtain properly it doesn’t flood. One thing to be aware of is that there is no kitchen - however this is denoted clearly in the listing on Booking. There is water, a kettle, coffee maker and a fridge.

In all my travels, this was one of the best places I’ve stayed. It’s on the main island but in a very quiet location - perfect for getting around and as a solo female traveller I never felt unsafe. The shower was always hot (which I really appreciated after a month of cold showers in the mountains!), the bed was one of the comfiest I’ve ever slept in - complete with a memory foam pillow! The best thing about the place is the host, though, who is very friendly and always responsive if you need help. I thought I was locked out during my first night and he called me immediately when I messaged him, despite it being a late hour. He was very patient and kind and even taught me a bit of Italian. I highly recommend this property for your stay in Venice.

It was a little cold in the night as the heating was not working but nothing an extra blanket couldn’t fix. An extra heater was offered but we didn’t need it.

The property was located perfectly for what we wanted. It was in the middle of Venice a short walk to rialto bridge. We had the apartment to ourselves and it was very roomy with everything we needed. Our host was amazing and gave us lots of recommendations and tips of how to get around and make the most of our time here and willing to accommodate all our needs. He even looked after our bags on the last day after our check out time!
