How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Stella, the receptionist was always with a big smile on her face and very eager to share info for the city. Room was cosy and warm but looked bigger in the pics

Excellent rooms, big beds, really good bathroom. There is a good tv in each room and you have free and good coffee and water for anytime. There is a metro station near and you can go to the center of Rome in 15 minutes.

The main building that these rooms are situated inside of, is a bit scruffy. It is also difficult to find if you arrive at night!
Perfect location. Quiet, traditional district, walking distance to all major attractions. Lovely owners, friendly and helpful. Comfortable room. Great breakfast close by, in a very beautiful cafe.

Friendly staff, spacious rooms, and very good location. I did like how the receptionist deal with our requests quickly and so affordable. Offered free mini coffee and tea bar at shared lounge out of our rooms. We really enjoyed and highly recommended. It won’t be last visit. Saudi Arabia 🇸🇦

Nothing to report. The Ottaviano metro station is just a 5 minute walk. Vaticano is a 15 minute walk. Perfect location and many cafeterias nearby!
Exceptionally good quality. The staff is very friendly and willing to reply to any enquiry. A little objectively caused delay in check-in was compensated by a very nice bottle of wine. Breakfests are served just in the cornered cafeteria. On the spot, tea, water and cafe are available. The luggage can be deposited after the check-out.

That's one of the best places to stay for a visit to Rome. Great localisation - quiet, close to Vatican city and main attractions the city has to offer. Rooms are super clean with towels changed everyday. Regarding stuff - super friendly, super helpful and really competent. You can contact them anytime via WhatsApp and they will help with any issue. Breakfasts are served in a nearby Cafe, which is one of the oldest and most respected in Rome. And coffee there is amazing. If Rome is your destination, don't hesitate and book them asap.

That you had to go out for breakfast. A nice little shop around the corner though. Coffee and tea are supplied in the small lobby area all the time but I had to ask for milk which was then supplied but soon ran out. This needs to be there all the time.
Nice room as described, very comfortable beds. Although there are several units in this former large apartment we never heard the occupants of the other rooms. We enjoyed the unusual old-fashioned Elevator to the floor where the units are. The road right around the corner has several cozy restaurants that we used twice during our stay, very convenient. I later recommended Cesare to friends and they also liked their stay.

The keys to lock the room door are a bit tricky to use but is alright once you get used to it. The fragrance or scent used in the lobby is stronger than what I would like but this is me being picky.
It was a lovely stay that exceeded our expectations. It is one of the few that is even better than how it looks in pictures.The room was spacious and the even the sofa bed was comfortable. The shower was well faceted and had constant hot water supplied whilst showering. The lift to access the hotel was also large to fit our suitcases and all 3 of us in one go. The location of the hotel was great with two metro stations as well as multiple bus stops nearby. Unlike the other areas we’ve visited in Rome, we found the location to be much more relaxed and quiet as well as being less tourist-oriented. We would definitely come back in the future.

The location was perfect just between two metro stations both 5 mins away each. It’s next to main shopping streets and close to all the attractions. The room was spacious with all the things necessary and complementary water and teas all day and night. The staff was very friendly and gave some useful suggestions that we ended up following.

Nice accommodation with friendly staff who helped organise taxis both from the airport and to the train station. We walked everywhere as you can do in Rome. Didn’t do the breakfast but did eat in the restaurant used for their breakfast and it was very good. This accommodation is good value for money in Rome.
