Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomThe walk up/down to the bubble lift was not easy with skis so best avoided. The walk to the chair took time to get there but on the way back was easy as you could ski a lot of it. The kitchen could do with an oven. A couple more comfy chairs in the living area would be great. Only comfy chairs for 4 people at the moment.
Breakfast was substantial. A lovely cake every day also. Tino's restaurant next door was also excellent; our favourite of the ones we went to. The dining area was great. Coffee machine and tea and coffee provided. Some basics also salt, pepper, balsamic and oil; very useful.

NetherlandsThe walk to the cable car is a little bit fussy with a lot of steps, so we preferred to go to the chairlift. The toiletries (soaps) in the bathroom weren't very high quality. The pillows were quite hard and only 1 per person. Check out was at 11 and it would have been nice to enjoy our final hours in the chalet in peace, but housekeeping already came at 8am to start stripping the beds - we felt a bit rushed and intruded on which was a shame. We hadn't realised that 60%+ of the village is shut from May onwards. It worked out ok in the end but good to note that choices are limited and it felt quite abandoned at times!!
The location was amazing, nestled in the village and well connected to a supermarket, pharmacy, the gourmet grocery store, some great restaurants and plenty of ski hire shops. Check-in at the restaurant next door was easy and straightforward. The breakfast in the chalet is very generous and fresh. The spa is a bit kitsch but so fun and indulgent after a day of skiing! We loved the balance of provided breakfast & daily housekeeping with some self-catering facilities (stove and microwave - no oven). The rooms were really thoughtfully designed and we loved the quintessential mountain decor. The owners provided a great cot and high chair for a baby, they also did some laundry which was very thoroughly done. We ate at the owners restaurant which was very cosy and the food was delicious. The mountain liquor leaving gift was so kind and a lovely 'cherry on top'!

we were 2 families with 5 children aged 3 to 16, our stay was perfect in every way. Great breakfast served in the living room, everyday cleaning service so nessessary with the kids. The rooms were spacious with subdivisions so we had privacy with the toddlers. Each room equipped with its own bathroom. All new and high end but authentic desingn. the private jaccuzzi with a glass roof, the fireplace, skiroom, 3 mins walking distance to the ski lifts, main street, supermarket, kids playground. Everyone independent for skiing, shopping, going home if tired, no need for a car. dinner from francois restaurant at home on demand. Just amazing!!

United KingdomThe lounge area was not great if you are having the whole chalet with friends as only one small sofa and one easy chair so not good for relaxing in the evening which was a shame. 2 bedrooms had sitting areas which were great tho if you are sharing the chalet with people you didn’t know. The boot room does not have heated boot rack which would be an advantage as it’s very cold in there making boots more difficult to get on in mornings.
Chalet was lovely. Exceptionally clean and well maintained. Staff great and breakfast vey good for continental with eggs.

United KingdomNothing.
Lovely place, close to the slopes for skiing. The owner Tino was very friendly and helpful and there was plenty of space. We rented as two families of five for the whole place and it was perfect for that. The breakfasts were great - cakes, eggs, warm croissants, ham, cheese, etc. The whole place was very clean and in excellent condition.
