How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Only complaint was there was no place in the bathroom to hang bath towels once we used them.
Super location. Very central to town, beach and camel. The breakfasts were fantastic. Freshly baked, superb range of meats, croissants yogurts, fruit etc

Motion sensor operated lights in some parts of the room were turning on/off uncontrollably due to windy conditions. There is no way to change this, and you don't want to sleep with your windows/doors closed. That's a minor nuisance.
Breakfast was fitting. For a hotel this size, it was very good. Always a good selection of bread, different kinds of ham, cheese, salami, sandwiches, pastries, fresh fruit etc. There was always sufficient room, sitting arrangements were comfortable. Coffee was perfect!

Everything was absolutely perfect, the room was clean and well equipped. The staff was nice and very helpfull. Parking is possible close to hotel for a small fee and hotel shuttle take you from and to the parking whenever you need. Our stay included breakfast, which was tasty and there was plenty to choose from.

We spent 3 days with family. The hotel is in a very pleasant environment, a few minutes' walk from the beach. Grocery store (SPAR) one street away. The hotel is clean, cultured, the staff is very nice, the breakfast was perfect :) The parking is in a large parking lot on the border of the settlement, but transportation between the hotel and the parking lot can be done quickly with shuttle buses without any problems. We had a great time, I hope to come back here again!

Very clean and comfortable rooms. Location is close to the sea and in walking distance to all the shops and restaurants. The staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful!

Very nice new family hotel with clean modern rooms. Extremely helpful and friendly staff. We even prolonged our stay with absolutely no problems. The breakfast exceeded our expectations with wide range and good taste. The location is perfect for both going to the beach and heading for dinner in the evening.

Everything was great.
This hotel is such a gem. The folks who manage it are incredibly friendly and went out of their way to help us in so many little ways, whether arranging dinner reservations for us at their favorite restaurant or or talking to my four year old daughter to make her smile. The hotel is very clean and modern, the breakfast was great, rooms were nice and modern, and you can't beat the location. Highly recommend.

The room and the hotel are new and of design, the place is really in the centre of Gabicce and so far to the beach. The staff is super gentle, so...what can you ask more?
