The location is super central, the room was a dream! The staff was incredibly kind and avaiable up to any request. The parking service is absolutely a must, for only 35 euro no worries of searching parking and getting crazy in the crowded streets of Florence to search for a parking, just stop the car under and they will take of everything! I will avsolutely come back in the future! Considering the general expensive prices of Florence, this property is totally worth it! A 5 star hotel service really!

We hoped to get the room advertised on the site with the light and airy space, blue walls and big bath. We paid a premium to get the larger room. Instead our room was very dark and much smaller than imagined. We still had the bath but the room was tired with the cupboard door hanging off its hinges and extremely difficult to access clothing. The safe was too small to fit a laptop. We were unable to turn off the heating despite asking staff as it was 20 degrees outside, so had to sleep with the windows open - as it’s right on a main road it was then extremely noisy at night. Finally it was a disappointing arrival - no one to greet us and corridors full of cleaning equipment. Really below our expectations for the price paid.

The breakfast was great and staff were friendly.

The bedroom was styled in a way that looked good but felt a little impractical (bookcase takes up half the room, the bath faces the wrong way, double doors into bathroom pointless and got in the way of eachother). We asked for a table to be booked at a local restaurant which was confirmed with us but hadn't been booked when we arrived, resulting in a 30 minute wait. Room were cleaned very late in the day (3/4pm) which in the 40 degree heat was often when we wanted to go back to the room. Automatic doors, reception not being manned after 7:30 and no deadlock on the door left us feeling not very safe as two girls travelling alone. Glass was smashed in our room and partially tidied up but glass was left on the floor. When we queried this at reception we were told it was because the room hasn't been cleaned yet, but we hadn't smashed the glass in the first place and found this response very confusing as we had been walking in the room with bare feet and could have easily cut ourselves. We had high expectations and this missed the mark for us.

The room had a very comfortable large bed and large television. The breakfast was exceptional, with the best little egg sandwich of my life. Location was superb.

If you have a car, there should be way more information for you on what to expect driving in Florence and getting to this very central location. We had no idea this was on a main walking and tourist street. There was a lot to need to know in order to drive here. I don’t recommend staying here if you have a car.

You cannot get more central of a location for Florence! The breakfast daily was great and convenient.

Very good location right in the middle of the city center, good breakfast with quite friendly and helpful staff. The suite we stayed in was large and well decorated.

The noise. We know it was central and some noise was to be expected, but the windows/room did nothing to protect from outside sounds. There was noise until very late and vans stocking shops started before 6am - even earplugs didn’t shut the sound out. It’s such a shame because everything else was great. If you’re not a very heavy sleeper then make sure you request a room on the opposite side of the hotel (I imagine it’s quieter off the Main Street).

A really beautiful hotel and our room (the beautiful blue one in the main pictures) was exceptional. Very helpful staff. The location was perfect for seeing the main sights of Florence - the Duomo was one end of the street and the Ufizi was the other.
