How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The parking lot was tough to find and far for first-time visitors... They did not inform me that the arrangement of took-took was possible.
I chose this place because of the balcony view, and it was great! Breakfast on the roof was very cool. The location was in the middle of the old town. I'm glad to stay here.

The shower water was a little cool. The room felt a bit bland and could have a little more thought to the decor and character- it was a bit sterile.

As expected with all places in the pedestrian only zone you need to think about how you will get to the hotel on foot with luggage. If you get parking (~10-15min walk) unfortunately the hotel the hotel only uses 3rd party options which you need to pay for, and the companies suggested for a buggy transfer to the parking lot were not available out of hours.
Stunning coastline views from our room, very comfortable room, superb location. Had a lovely time and would love to return. Breakfast terrace was wonderful and the location is excellent within the old town.

Entrance to our room (logistically) was a bit odd. Parking was a bit far from the hotel.
Location was excellent! Rooftop was very nice and the breakfast was good. Our room on the top floor was a bit odd to get in and out of, but it wasn’t too much of an inconvenience.

Rooms were a little on the small and basic side, but nothing wrong with them per se. All very clean, staff were friendly and breakfast was lovely so a very enjoyable stay.
Great location, helpful and friendly staff and the most beautiful breakfast balcony. Rooms were basic but well appointed and clean, so less luxury feel, but absolutely no complaints.

The first night I had a suite but the bedroom was upstairs in the roof and had no views or windows. I transferred to a Seaview room which was way better.
It was cool vibe with good staff and great location.

Well located in the centre of town and staff were great with assistance organising a pickup from our parking location which was only a couple ride in a Tuk Tuk taxi. very clean apartment with a great breakfast balcony and view. the room was very small though and would be difficult for a longer stay than a couple nights A quick walk to all the centre of town dining options which made the location ideal

The side sea view room doesn't have a trash can, which is quite inconvenient. The toilet has steps in the middle of the night, making it unsafe to go to the bathroom. Also, the WIFI signal is poor. All in all, the cost is not high.
The staff was very friendly.The outdoor seaside restaurant is gorgeous.

The first room that was offered to us was horrrible, too small, no window and not hygienic at all as the bad small of mold was so strong. I would never rent a room like that for 165 euros.

Steep (and I mean steep!) steps OK for the agile! I managed! (I'm a bit ancient!) Not complaining as this is a characteristic of the old town. No drawer storage to speak of.. use suitcase.. Limited bathroom shelves Coat hooks in bathroom and living room would be useful
Balcony, great view especially of birds..you are high up, breakfast with a view (on the roof) waited on by wonderful lady, staff, quiet... although all gets going about 7.00.. location, bed, sunbeds.

Some of the staff were not very helpful, for example, we were charged for 'welcome drinks' which we were told would be free however nobody stated which drinks were free or would be included. Secondly, although the transfer from the car park to the hotel is a great service, the transfer member of staff was very unwelcoming upon our arrival, grabbing our bags but not communicating that he was the transfer service or which hotel he would be taking us to.
The location was perfect, both right in the centre of town in a beautiful piazza and also backed directly onto the ocean cliffs with stunning views. We really loved our room, it was on the top floor and had a lovely little balcony that overlooked the piazza aswell as a side view of the ocean. It was wonderfully relaxing leaving the balcony doors open and listening to the hustle and bustle of the cafes below. Breakfast on the roof terrace was wonderful, with uninterrupted ocean views and we were served both days by a very kind and helpful lady (unfortunately we cannot remember her name).

It would have been great to have a kettle, iron and ironing board in the room.
The rooftop terrace had a fantastic view where breakfast was served as well as a bar for drinks in the early evenings. The breakfast was great as you could choose a prepared meal. We were really impressed with the quality. The location was great and right in the centre of town. The staff were helpful with booking us transfers to our parked car out of town.
