It was a 15 min walk to the centre of town. It could really do with some air conditioning as the fan was inadequate in the 30°+ heat.

Private bathroom is only private as in it is separate and can be locked…the bathroom is shared by many guests…thus a shared bathroom Doors only lock on the inside so anyone in theory can access your room when you’re not there No mirror in room (not a purpose bedroom - was still comfortable)

Raymondo was friendly, helpful & kind. His home was spacious, clean, had aircon, in a quiet area, lovely near walk to the centre…lots of bars/restaurants on the way…bus/train station near, very homely

Overall positive, sometimes got a weird vibe from the host but nothing major - been asked to pay a late check in fee of 50 euros for turning up at 2 pm . I argued it wasn’t mentioned anywhere so he actually didn’t apply it . It just felt he was taking the piss tbh . But again overall quite friendly and pleasant

The house was beautiful everything was working fine. Owner’s dog was very sweet . Lemon grove in the garden was also quite impressive

Relatively far from the center - about 15 minutes walking. On the other hand, there are some nice and not expensive places to eat nearby.

Felix is a wonderful host, helpful and welcoming. The villa itself is also very nice, totally worth the money.

Make sure to get that the check-in time is 13pm otherwise the owner will threat you to charge you 50€ for late check in! I have never seen that anywhere else. Afterward, the owner did not charge us the 50€ though but he asked us to put a nice review because of this "favor"... . The owner is a bit eccentric and communication is not easy. Not a bad person but a bit clumsy in his communication. He offered us fresh orange juice in the morning which was really nice. The house is beautiful and special and I would put 10 if it wasn't for this threat of late check-in fee which sounds like a scam.

I had a great time here. The property is a short walk to the centre of Sorrento. It is also a great base to visit the Amalfi coast and the archaeological site of Pompeii. The host was very friendly and gave some great tips on where to go. You are staying in his home, so as long as you respect his rules you will get along fine. The property is much cheaper than anywhere else I looked at in Sorrento, and I'm glad I chose to stay here. Of course I also enjoyed meeting Igor, the very friendly border collie that lives at the property with the owner.

Couldn’t recommend this more and half the price of other properties. Good value for money.

The property was a beautiful house - my room antique and beautiful. The bed was so comfy and the little fan was useful and appreciated. Thank you to the host for going above and beyond making sure I was well looked after and even lending me some sandals after a shoe disaster, in which I had to go and get new ones. Nothing was too much for him. Comfortable and clean. Stylish and very central. Only 10 minutes into the old town.

I had an amazing stay overall. The host is a gentleman, so warm and kind. The room and washroom was super clean, felt like home. And the dog was my most favorite ❤️ Highly recommend.

Absolutely disgusted which it’s not a proper bedroom I was put in. The house has an elegant chandelier because I was put in a sitting room and slept in a sofa bed with No aircondition. Toilet was dirty and no tissue available and it’s in a little cave that you have to walk a meter and bend your neck to go in. Shower, you have to walk upstairs for shower. I felt so discriminated and I think I was scammed by this people. I contacted booking.com about this they didn’t even made anything to make it better. Very disappointing

When I got to the property the man was in the kitchen with his shirt off. He waved me in so I opened the shutter to let myself in and his dog followed me inside. He shouted no no no to the dog coming in and so I ushered the dog out (I did not touch the dog) The dog then jumped at me and bit my wrist/arm. I checked it with a torch and it was nit cut but there was a mark and it hurt. The owner said do not worry he does this to me all the time. He then showed me the room and I placed my bags on the bed and he told me off for disrespecting the bed. He asked me what I was doing the next day and told me where the shared bathroom was. He did not give me a key to the room (it had a lock inside). I rang my friend who is a nurse and said I did not feel safe and then I nervously took my bags and told him I was going to meet friends and left. As I got out of the property I told a couple what had happened and cried. They asked ne what I was going to do and I said I will go to the airport. My flight back was not for another 2 weeks and I might lose the money to that too. I have made a complaint and asked for a full refund through booking.com. They suggested leaving this review aswell as them sorting it for me. I am worried for future guests as the dog was there when I had left my bags at check in (the owner was not there at check in time so I rang and he gave me the code) The dog was wondering around.

Unfriendly owner only focused on money. Not naturally hospitable. Very keen to apply surcharges wherever possible. 120cm bed sold as a double - large single at best. Dressed with sheets from a single bed Terrible pillows We had pre paid for 2 nights but left after 1 uncomfortable one. Happy to get out
