Very noisy and no fan. Also the mattress was bad.

we were there in september, no AC needed so ventillation is done by open window. it was humide.

the room was small. a bed and a dresser. 1 big window. the shared toilets didnt full well. the showers we're ok. the kitchen only has a microwave. no gaz stove. there are dishes and cutlery. the location is great.

There was nothing that I did not like about.

The staff was so kind and helpful. The baggage storage option which was offered for free was also a great thing I like. It was clean. There was lockers which was also good.

I would like if the window curtains are much better than cheap thread type curtains, because of the next building light was disturbing.

Place is walking distance to the station and near by plenty of restaurants. Nice common area to enjoy your outside foods and utensils were there.

Wi-fi was kind of slow and sometimes didn’t work at all, but it wasn’t a big problem for me

Everything was nice! Guys working at the reception were super friendly, room was okay, shared facilities as well, AC worked perfectly and the hostel was cleaned every day! Also the location is perfect, all sightseeing objects are in walkable distance:)

Maybe a bit noisy with doors cause it's an old building and the wifi signal is so-so but it's not the end of the world.

There is a strange smell in the room, the bed, pillows and sheets smell very bad. Even though the sheets are clean, the pillows and the bed are dirty. There is no air conditioning, it gets very oppressively hot. Dampness is felt.

Everything was very clean - bathroom, sheets, towels, floor. Soap and shower gel were provided. Quiet - we had separate room on the 2 floor. Free snacks at the morning - coffee, cookies, toasts with jam or nutella.

The stay was not what was advertised, there was no breakfast, no mosquito net (place was infested), we couldn't turn on the air conditioner and close the windows because according to their policy it could only be turned on until mid-June (even if it was hot), the staff wasn't that friendly.

Great location, close to train station and you can easily walk everywhere.

Description of place is misleading. Kitchen has no cooktop. Garden is not a garden. It’s a time capsule from the sixties that appears to only be improved when something breaks.

Liked the people I met. Joan at the desk was doing his best and I appreciated that.

Nightmare experience. Terrible room, bed making weird noise with every movement, constant disturbance from outside, dirty bathroom. Couldn't sleep most of the night and eventually decided to check out.

Needed maintenance, front door was crooked and hard to close, kitchen and patio were dreary, place needed a good cleaning

There were bed bugs in the hostel which caused a horrible experience for me and my travel companion. We saw bugs crawling around on our bed and our suitcases, then some bites appeared on our bodies. We were travelling internationally the next day and this whole debacle made for a terrible flight. Upon returning home, I had to throw away some clothes and dry clean all the others. I am seeking financial compensation from the hostel but the owner has been unresponsive.

The staff was nice and the location was perfect in Florence. We did not eat breakfast at the hostel so there's not much to say about that...
