Very thin walls separate the rooms and I could hear everything going on in the next room. Bedhead looks nice but it is linoleum and not a natural fabric like linen or cotton. I understand it is easy to maintain and will last long but i thought it was a tad too utilitarian.

The room was very clean and new. Just like in the pictures. Room 32 is in the dependence which is very quiet, you enter thru a separate gate and it is very quiet for the area. There was a common kitchen i could use which was a nice surprise for me. Water supply was excellent, the shower was in perfect condition (as I said all is new). Good warming with A/C. Good curtains to block the sun if i wanted to sleep in late. There was a kettle and a cup and tea bags. Toiletries and good towels. Beed linen were of good quality very clean and even seemed ironed.

The bedsheets weren’t changed in my case. There was a towel or two which were washed but had some darkish colour spots, no burden, used another one.

The staff was nice. The apartment is completely new and refurbished. Amazing Aircondition and very big for one person(as I travelled alone). Bathroom was very big and great. Location was amazing.

The entrance looks a little sketchy at first but once you realize it is gated you feel safe.

The sound insulation is really bad,you can hear people talking next door,including some small noises.No hot water at 23:00 on the second night,and the reception refuse to solve it at that time.

I understand that the guesthouse was built in addition to the main hotel and it's a refurbished/new build but there are just a couple of things that make the stay really uncomfortable. There is no proper curtain/only a see-through one in the bathroom with other flats right opposite. I shower at night and had to shower in the dark as otherwise you can just fully be seen. The walls are paper thin. You can hear people in the next room talking at a normal speaking volume which isn't great as you will definitely hear them if they are louder.

I really wanted to like this accomodation as the location is excellent. It's right by Campo de' Fiori. You need to pick up the keys from the main hotel and then walk through an alley to find the refurbished guesthouse annex. Cleaning staff were excellent - room was spotless and cleaned every day. They noticed I used a lot of shampoo so gave me extra bottles, genuinely attentive cleaning staff. Great aircon.
