Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomInitially thought we might have problems getting to 1st floor via locked lift. Once booked in, we were informed of a back way in/out with easy lift and access.
Ideally located for the railway station and relatively central for most of the tourist centres. Staff ever so helpful, pleasant, and accommodating.

United StatesEverything was wonderful!
I loved the hospitality here!! I felt very at home here even though I was on vacation! I loved all the staff and Amalia is a true gem of a person, she made sure she took care of us every morning with breakfast and our room and we absolutely loved her!! I would recommend to any of my friends visiting Italy. Also loved the location close to Trevi fountain and Nazionale street, lots of shops and pharmacies incase we forgot anything. The hotel was very clean and cute!!

It was a perfect location. We walked to Trevi fountain and Colosseum. Very safe place to walk around with several stores, restaurants, Coffee shops and more nearby. METRO station was close by and we took a short trip to Vatican. Very easy to get to hotel from airport. Staff was amazing and very helpful with local restaurant recommendations. Amelia (unsure of spelling) served the best breakfast, so many choices. We will definitely return here if back in Rome.

Hong KongThe rooms do not look the same as the pictures on the Booking.com, the real rooms are smaller and less colourful, so are the bathrooms (very small). The beds are the hard type - for those who don’t love the hard mattress it would be bad.
very friendly staff, nice breakfast, very quiet place.

TurkeyThe breakfast room is small and the food variety is less. In addition, some options are subject to an extra fee, even with breakfast included.
It's nice that it's close to the main terminal and attractions. The hotel is on the main street. There are various shops nearby. Giving you the entrance keys gives you a home feeling. It has a beautiful courtyard. Ceilings are high. Cleanliness is nice.

United KingdomEverything exceeded my expectations, so I only have positive things to say about my stay at this hotel
This was a lovely little hotel in a great location and within walking distance to many of Rome's main tourist attractions. Although located on a busy street, the hotel itself was nice and quiet and comfortable. The breakfast was very tasty and plentiful. In particular, I liked the Roman breakfast sandwich and the freshly baked cakes, accompanied with a very nice coffee. The very friendly and helpful staff really was the icing on the cake to a great stay

ItalyI don’t really think there was anything I didn’t like;
I loved the great location (5 min walk from Termini train station or 15 min walk to Coliseum, Piazza Venezia, San Pietro in Vincoli or Fontana di Trevi) and kindness of personnel; special mention to Amaya in the Bar preparing delicious breakfasts while receiving you with a great smile; she is really sweet. Thought the building is old, it has charming decorations, everything works great and it was really clean.

NetherlandsPerfect for your visit to Rome!!! Great location! Trein, metro, Colosseum and Trevi 15 minuten away. Lovely small hotel. The staff were brilliant. Alessandra one of the owner helped us with everything! She spoke also English and Spanish!!! Her husband and the rest of the staff really nice!!! We had a big room, very spacious with a very nice ultra clean bathroom!!! The room even has a refrigerator! Good TV where we could see films before going to sleep. Nice view from the window and not noisy at all!! The cleanliness was just above perfection!!! Really thankful about that!!! Breakfast is gorgeous and fresh with eggs, salami, prosciutto, cheese, cookies, cakes!!!. The filled croissants with pistachios or with red fruits are to die for!!! We don’t remember the name of the Italian lady who helped us with breakfast but she was just amazing!! So Italian nice!!! Everything was ready when we arrived at 11 a.m!!! And they allowed us to leave the bags after check out till our train time!!! Thanks for a nice experience. We´ll come back!!!

RomaniaThe lady from kitchen was nice but…. what is the exact reason of not letting people serve themselves with cheese, but you can serve yourself with eggs for example. I have never seen this type of : you can touch that, but you cannot touch the others. Either you serve everything (but wearing gloves), or either you leave the people to serve themselves. I did not appreciated that the lady was making my sandwich ( toast) with bear hands, but at the same time I am not allowed to touch one piece of bread, to put inside cheese and ham and place it in the toaster? I believe those things were implemented because of covid…. but still, I don’t think is comfortable as I am able to serve myself and put on the plate whatever I want to eat… At some point there were too many people that were waiting for the lady to serve everyone. For the future, please to leave people to serve themselves … And second thing that I didn’t liked was the fact that they don’t have slippers in room :( which was bad because the floor is very cold.
The room looks exactly as in the picture, it was clean and bed was comfortable, the room was heated well as we stayed during December. We appreciated the two bottles of water that were left for us in the room and the tea. The breakfast is good and there is variety comparing to other hotels were you receive only one croissant and a tea or coffee. So the breakfast is continental and they have multiple types of croissants, boiled eggs, ham, cheese, tomatoes, salami, butter, honey, jam, yogurt, fruits, panettone, coffee ( Italian style very good), tea, cacao, milk, cereals. The place is very close to Fontana di Trevi ( 10 minutes) walking, easy to find. I appreciated the map that we received from reception( nice to use this instead of phone) . Be aware of the city tax that you need to pay at the property ( very expensive in Rome) :( all hotels seem to have kinda same prices, but this one overall it’s good.
