How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

The room was very clean and beautiful very well organised. Breakfast was also excellent and the horse was able to help us for everything about our trip to Naples

Accomodation could not be any closer to the historic district with most attractions within walking distance. We had a car so Maria had given us address of car park where her and Linda came to speak to attendant. They walked us to property which is nearby and honestly could not do enough to help. Accomodatiin is spotless and excellent value for location.

100% good, nothing I did not like.
The Location could not be better and the accommodations are perfect, and there is a lovely breakfast each morning as well. But the best asset of this place is Giuseppe, the owner. He knows Naples, he knows travel and travellers, and he is just an all around great host. Even his restaurant recommendations are spot on! I spent a week and look forward to returning to this place and this amazing city.

Perfect 10. Was met on time by friendly women to check me into my clean and comfortable room. Great breakfast and host let me keep my bag there when I checked out.

Good location for the historic parts of Naples, although in a narrow dark street. Spotlessly clean and great bathroom and shower. Good air con. Breakfast was good. Best hosts we’ve EVER had. Endlessly helpful without needing to be asked. Even before we arrived we got WhatsApp’s explaining everything and when we arrived given a map and pointed out best streets, restaurants, suggestions to visit. A great help. Loved our stay and would highly recommend

I can't think of any way our stay could have been improved. We had a great time.
Breakfast was excellent with a wide choice of things on offer, and wonderful coffee. Linda and Martha, who were there most days were very friendly and helpful. The Gea Suite is located in the heart of the old town and an ideal base from which to explore. Our room was comfortable, clean and tastefully decorated. We had a great stay and would stay there again.

Giuseppe the host is charming. He was so helpful and he made our stay perfect! The rooms are comfortable and clean. Breakfast was delicious and the location is near all of Naples best sites.

Nothing. It was perfecto!
The ladies who run the B&B were so friendly and kind. Marika went out of her way to show us what sites she thought we should visit. My partner and I are gluten-free, and we were told which restaurants had GF pizza (very important in Napoli) and GF meals. The room was spotlessly clean and was in a great location close to a lot of places. It's noisy on the streets, but not in the room, which has air con, so you can shut the sliding door. We will definitely stay here again when we visit again.

Clean, central and friendly staff
Room was very nice in an older building but very central to key areas which was great. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was also included which was simple but nice.

My experience at this hotel was truly amazing, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. The location is perfect, with everything conveniently close and easy to access. Giuseppe was exceptional, providing numerous recommendations for dining and sightseeing in the city. He truly went above and beyond to ensure my stay was memorable. Additionally, when my luggage was lost at the airport, they went out of their way to assist me in retrieving it. I cannot say enough about how great my stay was!

Great service from Linda and Marica. They met me on arrival near Spacca Napoli to show me to the BnB. Marica very knowledgeable and helpful, giving recommendations for restaurants, places to visit etc. Fantastic location to get out and about to explore Napoli. Please don’t be put off by the alleyway or the area, I travelled as a single female and felt very safe. It’s part of the Napoli character :) Although it’s situated in the Historic centre of Napoli, with lots going on around, the apartment itself was very quiet. Room was a good size and always very clean. I would definitely visit again and would recommend to all!
