Bathroom was clean as well, but there was a hole in the ceiling right above the toilet so that was a bit uncomfortable.

The room was clean and spacious! The ceilings are really beautiful, its unusual to see a hotel where the emphasis is put on the ceilings so that's interesting! Staff is polite. Breakfast was diverse enough. Close to Via Etnea and Villa Bellini.

the room was pretty sad with all the cold light bulbs and the toilet that ran. I asked to fix it and they said they would do it tomorrow (I only stayed 1 night!).

the hotel is right in the center of the city, 2 steps away from everything. It has an entrance on the 2nd floor with a lift and is quite clean even if a little dated

I was absolutely blown away by how beautiful this hotel is; the paintings on the ceiling were like in a museum! The antique historic accommodations made me feel like I was transported back in time. My room was so beautiful and spacious with a gorgeous street view. The staff was also extremely helpful and lovely. I would love to come back and stay here again!

I felt like in living in a boarding school having to leave the keys at the reception all the time, being yelled at to come at the reception first and not to go to my room even though there was someone in the room. The hotel is located at the first floor in a building where others live too. The room was medium size with a very high ceiling. Hard flat cheap pillow, just one, hard to sleep on it. The bed was small and had a hard mattress that I have found uncomfortable to sleep on. Everything was at minimum level, food included. Breakfast implied eating from cheap plastic plates the same basic food (no vegetables) for several days wasn't a pleasant at all. I wouldn't return there again.

One of those cr*py places you don’t want to find yourself sleeping in. However, if it’s just for one night and you’re on a budget — you’ll survive. Be prepared for a “decaying building” entourage and an extra-old spring mattress.

Hotel GRESI accommodation was very satisfying. All the staff at Hotel GRESI were very friendly to customers and the location was so good that it was the best place for sightseeing. However, it was a little uncomfortable because the Wi-Fi was not working well, but it was not a big problem for me. Thank you very much for always asking from the customer's point of view and trying to give me various information. I would like to say thank you from the bottom of my heart for taking care of my bag after checking out and taking care of my heavy luggage during my trip to another country for a few days in the middle of the trip. Hotel GRESI always did the best I could, so I was able to comfortably tour the tourist attractions and return safely late at night while staying in Catania. I hope that the staff of Hotel GRESI will always be blessed with God

Location worst ever, small room with fridge standking in the room loose, old furnitures, hair on the floor, towels with yello stains, should not be called hotel this is something ells, the staff that dont belive you allready have paid for your stay and instead starts arguing with you for 1 hour bescous he was total incompetent.

Even though we had booked they had no record of the booking. They were totally disorganized. The rooms looked like the 1950’s with old furnishings.

Staff were helpful but the bed was very uncomfortable and the noise was awful, so hardly slept.

The rooms are too small, and it has really old furniture, the door was not closed. The staff doesn’t speak English, so it’s hard to communicate with them. I had to use google translate, and than WiFi connection was too poor, and it wasn’t used at the room. Furthermore the breakfast was too bad, just croissant, Nutella , and fruit!!! I ever never prefer to stay there
