How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

The little balcony in our room was a nice touch I think other rooms didn't have this. Hard to find someone on reception though. Otherwise a pleasant stay.

It’s a pedestrian street, so if you come with your car, you have to carry all by hand. It’s also a bit noisy since there is plenty of restaurants, for us, this part was not very convenient. I found it a bit expensive compared to other 4 stars hotels where we had too separate rooms for the same price. The sofa bed was very bad, the other bed was uncomfortable for me ( very hard mattress and bad cushion)
The location is in the city center. They provide water and other amenities for coffee or very basic breakfast.

We expected that the accomodation would be bigger or a bit more spacious. The pictures did not provide accurate information of the size of the accomodation.
Location was very good. It suits very well if you are looking for a vacation in the heart of the city. The apartment was cleaned daily and our requests were dealt quite fast. Shower was big enough

Sofa bed was just uncomfy for the kids.
Right in the town center. Comfy mattress and pillow. Spacious room. Some basic things for breakfast is placed in the room. Good bathroom. Good restaurant is just under the building.

Just beware that breakfast is a coffee machine and some stuff in packets and jams in your room.Not a real problem as I got some yoghurts and fruit and bread from the local supermarket and ate just down the road on a bench with a lovely view.
It was fine for a one night inexpensive stop-over. Very pleased I had ear plugs as it was a Saturday night. Comfy bed. Great little town.

This place feels very secluded. The room was quiet, clean, comfortable and has everything you would expect in a hotel. It's close to restaurants and bars and close to the ferry terminal. Staff was super friendly and relaxed, helped me with my questions and allowed me to stow my luggage for a few hours. Great place, would recommend it.

A great spot in town centre, with easy access to beach, restaurants and ferry, bus services. Comfortable accommodation, great shower, TV and comfy bed. Simple Eats for brekky. Beach is gorgeous but can be crowded about 10mins walk. Staff are friendly.

Central location. Street closed to traffic. Very walkable (7min) to gorgeous beach. Restaurants and shops at your feet.

Only one thing to complain - WiFi is absent! Signal is so weak, that network is hardly detectable, not possible to connect to. It looks like staff has give up to solve the issue, as I mentioned it few times with no result. Previous customers left similar comments too. Has to be solved for next season. Crack in shower tray.
Great location next to main square, restaurants and shops, and 5 min to the beach. 10 min walk to Spar supermarket. Good sound proofed, no street noise once windows closed. 2x air-conditioners - one for each room. Well equipped apartment, has all necessary. Sofa transformed into double deck bed - excellent option for our 2 kids. Cleaned well, daily. Complimentary cookies, jam & honey, tea bags & coffee pods, bottle of water, bath supplies - replenished daily. Regular towel and bed clothes change. Hospital and responsive staff.

Ground floor entrance - had to go between restaurant tables to get in/out of apartment Was listed with "balcony" but had only a very small backyard not usable for anything else than drying clothes.
