Perfectly located accomodation. It is too close all historical places in the center of Firenze. Mario is very helpful host. He told us during checkin about all points in Firenze that we should visit. Also he instantly solved our air conditioning problem and he offer us a free breakfast for this issue as a treat. Strongly recommended for a joyful stay in Firenze. Thank you Mario.

Our original reservation was for a room that was too small in this ancient building. We were able to upgrade to a more suitable room.

The hotel has a lot of charm. I liked the fact that its old and its part of florence's history. The room was well orgnaized for a small room. It was perfect for me but for 2 it will maybe be a littel small. What i really enjoied is the service and the staff. They helped with everything! Thank you Mario and all the team.

You can find more expensive hotels in the heart of Florence within a block of Hotel Santa Croce, but you will not find better hosts than than the two brothers Gabriel and Mario who pay attention to every detail of this boutique B&B and treated me like family. I had a wonderful three night stay, the room was quiet, neat and clean. I want to mention a few items that standout and I thought exceptional. * The room was cleaned, fresh towels and linens every day. * The hotel street and room, were very, very quiet. * The location is as good as it gets in Florence, a few minutes walk to The Doumo, Uffizi, Arno river, etc. * The breakfast included was a perfect European breakfast, with pastries, cereals, sliced meats and cheeses, expressos and cappuccinos * The room had room air conditioning and radiator heat. * As mentioned above the owners Gabriel and Mario are on-site, acting concierges, and bend over backwards to make your stay exceptional.

The property is a little outdated so you aren’t coming in with the latest and greatest things. Part of this is the city of Florence imposing rules on historical sites to remain structurally the same however, I do think there’s an opportunity to make small updates and enhance the experience. There are no complaints about this property.

The property is in the middle of the city, close to everything! We loved how accessible all major sites were. There’s restaurants all around and the train station is only a 15 min walk from the hotel which is also very convenient. The two brothers that own this hotel are friendly, providing tips around navigating the city, city history, and more! We loved our stay here.

The hotel was in a prime location making it easy to walk to many popular sights. The owners and employees were very welcoming and friendly and made sure we had the best stay!. Very cute hotel with spacious room for myself, husband and 1 year old baby.

The room, particularly the bathroom, was compact and at the top of multiple flights of stairs. It was okay for me as a solo traveler but it could be a squeeze for two people or someone with mobility issues.

The location was superb - right in the heart of Florence. The staff were extremely helpful and accommodating. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast options were simple but delicious.

The AC machine works fantastically well but can be a little noisy, playing around a little with and you can make it work for your situation.

This hotel is in an ideal location to visit all of all the main tourist attractions that Florence has to offer. The staff, including owners Mario and Gabrielle, are the most attentive people that I’ve ever come across in all my travels. They made the stay so enjoyable. The continental breakfast consists of white and brown which can be toasted with a selection of jams, honey and butter. A mixture of pastries as well as cornflakes or chocolate rice crispies. They also offer some different juices such as pineapple, orange and grapefruit. I cannot drink lactose and they had non lactose milk which was very good. If I would improve anything it would be the temperature of the water whilst showering as it changed sometimes.

We can't follow the Google map 100%, since Florence really have some rules with ZTL that google map won't show, thanks to the hotel group gave us very detailed guide to get to hotel, but we still made some mistakes as the paths in city center are very narrow and not clear to see the road name;

The location of apartment is very good, super close to every popular spot! normally we just need 5-10 mins walk to reach everywhere; All the hotel staff were very friendly and when we meet a problem with the room, they were very responsive and helpful in finding a solution; also communication was also very pleasant, the reception even gave us a map of Florence and patiently explained!

Location was superb. Close to many attractions and minutes from Santa Croce. Lots of lovely bars and restaurants nearby and we were given an excellent recommendation for a restaurant nearby with a discount where the food was amazing . Great vibe and atmosphere Breakfast was excellent , fresh fruit and pastries and freshly made cappuccino and espressos. Really set us up for the day.. the staff were all very accommodating and friendly .. nothing was a trouble and we were given cold juice drinks when we arrived . Very welcome as we had walked from the railway station! They also let us leave our luggage when we checked out and called a taxi when it was time to move on . Would definitely recommend this place .. a great find !

The hotel really is within walking distance of all attractions in Florence as well as a plethora of places to eat / drink to suit all tastes and budgets. In a historical building, about a stone throw away from the tombs of Michelangelo, Machiavelli and Galileo Galilei (hopefully you will reserve plenty of time for a visit to the Church of Santa Croce, we did not because it was so close and regretted it). Really friendly staff, comfy beds and well appointed albeit small-ish bathroom. ps, loved the little touches, like the mosquito repellant already plugged in when we arrived
