How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Nothing. Everything very good.
It was the best stay in Italy! Perfect accommodation, easy to get, everything was perfect clean, new with fine design. Close to the center. Silent aria, comfortable bed, great shower. The breakfast very good, Italian. Great deal!

The room was very clean and the bed very comfortable with Air con so was nice and cool. The breakfast was enjoyable. The lady who served us was very friendly. The property was very secure and very near the local cafe, restaurants and bus station. We would visit again and recommend. The host was very friendly and mentioned some local hotels and boat trips. We enjoyed our stay

For the price, I think the breakfast could be a bit more imaginative with some hot options and fresh squeezed juices.
The location is great. Very quiet and close to buses and the main street in Anacapri. The room was a good size and the air conditioning was good.

my only complaint was for it to just big enough to have bags fully open
clean, cozy, fast wifi, good access to public transit before it fills up, host and staff were extremely nice snd hospitable, host went with us saturday night to get us reservations at the local restaurant, very local neighborhood

Everything was just perfect.
The room is beautiful, everything is in perfect condition. Extremely clean. Beautiful bathroom. Costanzo was very helpful asking what we wanted to do, and he got the tickets for the around the island tour which was beautiful and only 22 euros. Norma the cleaning lady was very friendly and caring just like Costanzo. Definetely Il Truciolo is the best place to stay when visiting Ana Capri. The room has a mini kitchen and a fridge. Il truciolo is walking distance from vía orlandi shops in Ana capri. Walking distance from the bus if you want to visit Capri Center for all the fine stores or visit the Marina grande for the around island , grutta azzura tour.

The room walls are extra thin and do not isolate noise. Although it's a generally peaceful and quiet area, any noise from outside is well heard in the room.
Very nice host and maid ladies. Truly helpful and kind. Helped us a lot with scooter parking and earlier check in. The room is tastefully designed and squeaky clean. Good, quiet loc within Anacapri. I would return.

It was like a bit off humidity in the room but not bad.
It was very nice, the room it's made with good quality, very clean with a small fridge and a safe deposit box, the bathroom also beautifully decorated and clean, I think it's all new or renovated. The location is also very good near to the center off Anacapri, the restaurants and shops.Thanks! 👍

Everything was fine.
Perfect place for a Capri Holiday. The rooms are very clean and well-equipped, staff is super kind, breakfast is good (their cappuccino mamma mia! Delicious). The boss was very helpful, he had some good tips for us (what and when to visit smthg) and he has quickly solved our request. The apartment is well situated - 50m from the nearest bus stop, where you can catch a bus in the direction of Capri/Marina Grande/Marina Piccola/Grotta Azzura and Faro. Anacapri centre is 150-200m and the nearest pizzeria is just 75-100m away. We were delighted to have stay here and looking forward to come back. I recommend it 100%. Grazie.
