I loved my stay here and I would definitely return. I stayed in the 12 person dorm but there were no problems and I had perfect sleep. The installations are comfy, very clean, they have lots of bathrooms. The breakfast is included and this almost never happens nowadays in hostels for the price I had to pay. The people there were super friendly. I recommended 110% TAKE THE WAKING TOUR !!! IT IS INCREDIBLE!!!!!

The doors of rooms and toilets are all not easy to open/close them, and it makes noisy especially in the midnight. And the tiny table next to the bed is not functional actually. Anyway, this is just some minor things for improvement.

Location is perfect. And it is really kind to have breakfast included at this low price.

great location, the volunteers were all great and so welcoming couldn’t find fault in anything. beds comfortable, bathrooms and common areas super clean, breakfast included was great with fruit and brioche and cereals every day, it was my first time staying at a hostel and I couldn’t have had a better time.

I feel like the shower cabin was quite small and it was not too good concerning hygiene. the day we left they did hire a new cleaner I noticed, so it might change now. I do however really recommend this hostel. me and my brother loved it even though we spent just one night there

I loved the atmosphere. the staff was so very kind and social. the staff sleeps there as well and hangs out with everyone too. it's a social hostel (especially in the evenings). we just hung out in the common room. the rooms are good. it's clean. the facilities such as kitchen/shower/toilets are fine. the kitchen was very clean. the showers and toilets were okay. the bedroom was spacious and had good spacious lockers as well.

Maybe to access the hostel via Garibaldi is the best option....then you cannot cross the small alleys and prostitution places....I felt a bit unsafe when crossing those narrow alleys, specially because internet doesnt work well there and there were many "weird" people circulating there...So, go through Via Garibaldi...

Breakfast was nice, and it was included in the price of the room. Staff was really nice. Leandro, the Brazilian, was very friendly, specially giving tips of places to visit and things to do. For example, instead of taking a bus from Santa Margherita Ligure to Portofino, he advised me to go by walk...and seriously, that was the best thing I did, for the view and for the exercise I really needed to do at some point (I was eating a lot those days).

Two of the showers were only hand held and couldn’t be attached to the wall but it wasn’t a huge issue

As soon as we came in it was a really friendly environment, everyone welcomed us even though it was 11 at night and we got a tour from the receptionist, which was lovely. The staff were all travellers doing world packers or similar so were good fun and hung out with us all a lot. The structure of the hostel was was hugely social and everyone was kind and respectful. Despite being in a 12 person dorm it still felt really spacious. The hostel is also only a 15-20 minute walk from both Piazza Principale station and Brignole station. Breakfast was included and always well stocked and there was a ‘free food’ shelf. The kitchen was clean and had good facilities. Shout out to the great staff - Leandro, Leander and Louiz!

Bathrooms are shared with all the guest and not only with your roommates. You don't have keys of your bedrooms, they are open all the time.

It's an awesome place for young people. There is a small lobby, which makes you gather more easily and get to know each other, and it was nicely and warmly decorated.

There's no air conditioning in my room because it was broken but they had three fans so that was okay. And in the shower they need to fix the air vent that take the hot air out it was very humid inside.

Breakfast was nice. Easy to find location. Rooms are very clean. Sometimes it can be noisy in the early morning with the garbage trucks driving on the street.

The hostel is right above a bar that blasted music until 1am and there was no aircon to we had to leave the windows open… not really hostels fault moreso bad location at night time.

A pretty good hostel which can be hard to come by for travellers! Well done on keeping the facilities nice! Very nice staff, good communal friendly guests. Equipped kitchen and comes with breakfast
