The shower heads need de-scaling. I thought somewhere to lounge in the evening would be nice but people seemed to either be out enjoying Venice or going to bed early to do something early in the morning, so maybe there wouldn’t be much call for it

This hostel is unique in ambience, having a calm, quiet, retreat-like, peaceful vibe yet it’s central for everything and about a 20 minute walk from Venice Santa Maria train station. There’s a Vaporetto stop nearby as well as supermarket and Cafes just round the corner over a bridge (everything in Venice is just over a bridge! There’s a kitchen and large room to eat in. I’ll definitely return

The room's heating seems to have some issues and doesn't rly work

I stayed in a 4-person dormitory. It is situated in a very nice and quiet compound away from the main streets but not too far that's too inconvenient to walk to the main attractions The room is clean and the bed is comfortable enough for the price.

They don’t offer any towels. At least it’s not included in the price. Did not ask the reception though.

I loved the big yard and the persimmon tree with ripe fruit! Sleeping felt very quiet and secluded. No noise from the outside got in. The kitchen was quite nice and even though the commune space wasn’t very big, I ended up meeting some very nice people there- that made my trip more fun!

the locks to get into the room are quite tricky, which was a bit frustrating in terms of trying to get in, but it also made it very loud in the morning when leaving

There was only one shower in our building. I think for 5 rooms to share one bathroom it’s not enough. But luckily we had a sink and a mirror in our room.

The neighborhood was great, with plenty places to eat. The church I wanted to visit was just round the corner and an amazing cultural center was within 5 min walk. The room was pretty big and the locker was a great size. Also the Wi-Fi worked fine!

Its next to the student dorm, very loud activities at night till midnight. The door to the room jammed so no silent entry at night. Only 1 toilet for six ladies. But well if its just for 1 or 2 nights you will be okay

The hostel is perfectly situated in the centre of Venice and feels very safe. You can leave your luggage before check-in or after check-out. Big clean communal kitchen. Reception is super friendly. And so were the other roommates, we had a good laugh, great talk and even went for drinks.

The location was perfect. It's extremely central with everything you want to see in easy walking distance. The room was comfortable and a locker/ key was provided for you.

The bathroom floors are the showers' floor - everything gets messy when you or the other take a shower.

Nice and welcoming staff, amazing location. Perhaps a bit pricy but that's something one might expect from Venice. Loved how kind they were, I had an issue with the locker and they solved it right away

only the constant change of flatmates who also snored ... I would like single rooms better! and in the kitchen you need decent knife for cooking!

Maybe a shower mat for when you get out the shower as could be a bit slippy on the tiles when stepping out. Also the luggage drop off didn’t seem very secure as your bags could have easily been picked up by someone else, especially during the times the reception desk wasn’t covered.

Really clean hostel, staff friendly, excellent location and easy to walk to all places in Venice from.

There weren't tools for drying the bathroom's floor after taking a shower.

Check in time, they should be available 24 hrs but the reception only opens at 1 pm to 8pm. If you arrive earlier or later, you are stranded and they neither pick calls nor respond to texts.

Lovely quiet place. Located right at the heart of venice but once you get in, looks like a different world. Perfect stay for some peace with the crowds outside. Free coffee and juice for breakfast and a clean kitchen

the only small thing I didn’t like about the room was that the fans were very inefficient and actually did nothing to cool the room down. However for Venice in July it is very difficult to cool down the rooms, and as young backpackers we were very happy with the value for money and didn’t mind too much about the heat.

the location was incredibly good value, on the main island of Venice but not super central meaning that the area directly around the hostel was not crowded and busy all the time. The staff were very friendly and the building and courtyard was beautiful

The furniture is quite old but it was OK for the price.

We really liked the location and the amazing garden where we could sit and eat our dinner. Also the kitchen was well equipped and the staff was very friendly and helpful. When it was hot we could use the fan. We really enjoyed this stay!
