This is not a negative, simply for information: It is possible to walk from Podere to historic centre, up a private road in the midst of nature, but be warned, you need to be fit, because very steep uphill! The alternative is to request the shuttle service.

Owner manager very helpful and pleasant, provided shuttle van service to station (cheaper than taxi at €10) and to historic centre.

Parking was easy. We had a warm welcome. The place is very quiet even though its easy to reach the town above us. Breakfast was really good and we would not hesitate to go back. Dogs are made very welcome and they have two of their own.

If you plan to walk to/from the station beware that it is close but there is no pavement. The hotel will pick you up for a fee. If you plan to walk to Orvieto old town beware it is steep - good exercise but your legs will hurt the next day haha.

Beautiful hotel with a big pool. The lady that owned the hotel was really nice and the breakfast was delicious. The room was very clean and comfy too.

We were very impressed with Podere Sette Piagge. We wished we could have stayed longer. Everything was perfect. Friendly, welcoming staff. Beautiful location….a country setting, yet only a short walk to Centro Storico.Breakfast was amazing! Thank you Francesca!

Wifi was very intermittent.

Beautiful location at the base of Orvieto. We were able to take a quiet path just outside the property up the hill to the town (it is a steep climb!). Grounds were lovely, two dogs and a cat to entertain you, and beds were comfortable. Breakfast was delicious - both sweet and savory options.

It was a bit noisy. The shower pressure was weak.

Lovely setting nestled below the main town of Orvieto. Family atmosphere with Jenny the dog wanting belly rubs before check in. Big room and bathroom. Fridge available on the landing with a Nespresso machine and cookies available. Breakfast was a buffet for €7.50 per person with coffee, juice, cakes and pastries plus cereal and yogurts.

Francesa was amazing. She even came out in the rain to pick us up when we could not find a cab home from town. The breakfast was amazing and all the fruit was from the farm. I am still dreaming about her peaches!!!

The bed was a little too soft, and you can hear the noise of the road and trains down in the valley.

The stay was so wonderful & beautiful. The view from Podere Sette Piagge looking up at the walled town of Orvieto was breathtaking! The climb to town was tough, but so worth it. THE VIEW!!!!! 👍🏻 Breakfast was great & a good variety!Host Francesca & her dad Alberto were so accommodating. From picking us up at the train station & taking us back, to dropping us off at one of their recommended restaurants. The only thing we regret is not staying there longer!!!

Just the fact of our short stay....

We loved it all. The location, 15 mnts.from the old Town. The place itself , nice well kept house with gardens,pool,panoramic view and spacious well decorated nice clean room, with a fresh soft ambience. Secured parking.And of course, a welcoming couple , very nice breakfast, two friendly dogs.
