How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

2nd floor room with stairs also in the room would not suit those with mobility issues.
lovely room, unusual arrangement with steps up to bathroom and small day room or 2nd bedroom. very clean. and serviced daily. comfortable bed, wifi, water and kettle provided. Easy walk to main centre.

Great location in the historic center of Ravenna. The apartment is spacious, well equipped and clean. Despite the fact that it is located in the very center, the apartment is extremely peaceful and quiet. Communicative and helpful host.

There was nothing we didnt like.
Beautiful apartment in central Ravenna spotlessly clean, close to restaurants ,stayed for 1 night pre cruise . Nicolo the host was amazing so helpful ,organised Taxi to cruise port gave us tips on were to eat ,highly recommended .

This place is amazing. It is very clean and cozy. Owners are very generous and will help you everything and will recommend you what to see and where to eat. Owner also helpped us with the trip to another city. We are really satisfied with everything and will be back in this accomodation. In room you have everything you need for your stay.

We stayed a week and coincided with 'bin day'. But that's life!
We really enjoyed our stay. Niccolo is an excellent host, kind, congenial and helpful, and lending a personal touch that enhanced out visit to Casa Aurora. The room (with mezzanine) was just right for us as a family. The facilities were immaculate and the beds very comfortable. Location is great - round the corner from restaurants, shops and many of the major historic sites, 10 minutes to buses and trains (including the bus to the beach), yet tucked away in what feels like a regular neighbourhood. We also appreciated the restaurant recommendations - though we were impressed with the food in Ravenna wherever we went.

This is a very nice place in the centre of Ravenna. The room was clean and had everything you need. Ravenna itself is so nice. We only booked it for the night but wish we would’ve had longer!

Very comfortable rooms and perfect location, close to all the beautiful churches, historical sites and restaurants.There was water, cups, tea, sugar, and a mini fridge in the room as well. The balcony was a wonderful way to have our morning tea on our last day. But best of all were the wonderful hosts, who were very helpful and kind. Highly recommend!

Some loud noises from the unit above like furniture being dragged around. we were on the ground floor. Not sure why that was.
nice spacious rooms in a lovely part of the old town and best of all was the happy charming welcoming host Nikolo.

Perfect stay, nice host and cosy apartment. Close to the city center. Very helpful staff at reception! The two storey room was very clean and beauty designer. Apartment was much better than other rooms in the city!

We loved everything about our stay at Casa Aurora. The room is not a room, but a suite, beautifully decorated in a house dating from the 1400s. The location couldn’t be better: a few hundred metres from San Vitale, and excellent restaurants even closer. Nicolo is the perfect host: friendly, and going the extra mile to accommodate guests’ needs and give travel advice. If/when we come to Ravenna again, it’s a no-brainer that Casa Aurora will be our first choice of accommodation options. Thanks you Nicolo for making our stay so special!

Very well located, central Ravenna. Quite enjoyable rooms even in the warm weather the room temperature was good, even without AC. Staff is very helpful with extra requests. Owner speaks fluent English. Definitely recommend this place.

So much space. A great location with artwork right outside the door. Highly recommended for a visit to Ravenna as pretty much everything is a short walk away. The owner was very friendly.

Our room was terrific; clean, comfortable, and roomy. The extra bedroom in the Angelo Mariani superior family room made it quite family friendly. The property owner, Nicolo, was fabulous. He went out of his way to accommodate us. He was so very knowledgeable and helpful. Ravenna was a wonderful, quaint town. On our next visit to Ravenna, we will definitely spend at least a couple of days AND will most DEFINITELY stay at the R&B Casa Aurora.

Nothing. The bathroom was small but hey the room was so cute what's not to like!!
The room was clean, spacious and charming. The location was right in town ypu could walk to all the main sights. Nicolo was so helpful and friendly (and so much fun) Nothing was too much trouble.

Excellenr location in town center near 99%of the monuments that could be visited on foot. pur room ( actually rooms) werenlarge, comfortable and perfectly vlean ascwas the bathroom. also has a terrace. Parking was clise and easily available. The R&B wascextremely helpful and crystal clear on how to park, how to get to their premises etc. They also let you know about loads of places toveat that you can choise from. staff very friendly and helpful. we could leave our luggage for late puck up from us. all in s as ll an excelkent experience and do jot hesitate tobrecommend Casa Aurora.
