The only thing that we had an issue with really was that the rooms are very close together so when you have very noisy guests staying next door... you really can't sleep. That being said we only had to deal with this issue for one night out of five we stayed there as our wonderful host was alerted and talked to the other guests and sorted it out. I still feel like I should mention it for people who are very light sleepers like myself.

We loved the location, the host, the room itself. Everything was lovely and the coffee machine and fridge very useful and a big bonus. Host is super responsive and helpful 24/7 which was very much appreciated.

The only very minor gripe was that I found the door entry code systems a bit of a faff, but overall they worked very well and bonus was that the building was safe.

I loved this place. The location is perfect, only moments away from the Vatican/St Peter’s. Ideal for late night visits when it’s quiet or for an early start at the weekly Papal audience or for the Vatican museums. Probably not possible to stay closer. It’s a nice quiet and safe area (at night) with reasonably priced restaurants and cafes for breakfast, lunch or dinner all on the doorstep. Lots of shops nearby for shopping as well. Host also sent nearby restaurant recommendations on arrival which was a helpful starting point. It’s also close (about 5 min walk) to the Ottoviana Metro station (the Vatican stop) to get to accommodation quickly from Termini the main bus & train station and also to travel to the rest of the City quickly. Was usually also a taxi or two parked outside the building for pickups. Room rate was very good and definitely well worth the value. Host was super responsive beforehand and also when I had to contact him during stay. Room was modern and clean with cleaner coming in daily.

I was so fortunate to have a very easy transition from airport to location. My taxis were arranged for me both ways. I got in very late and was able to self check in with ease. I’m an older adult so this was very important to me.

The room was just a little tight for two for 8 nights.

Close to Metro and a couple of buses. Near Vatican. Beds were very comfortable. Bathroom shower very good. Owner very responsive. Very clean. Can have room cleaned often but we didn’t choose to have room cleaned often. Felt secure in the room.

The strong smell of the insecticide/ air freshener triggered my migraine.

It was near the vatican and near lots of restaurants and my son loved the proximity of foot locker. Super clean, comfortable bed and pillows. The host was super helpful and accommodating too.

Bathroom was the only part of the room that was less than we expected. Shower was small with mold on the bottom tiles and the water pressure was low/inadequate. No counter space for toiletries on the sink and no towel racks for hand towels.

Location was ideal for access to the Vatican. Entry into the building and room was secure. We felt safe. Taxis were always available out front. Many restaurant and cafe options very close by.

The only issue was the door handle to the apartment was SO HARD TO OPEN. I consider myself a strong woman, but for the life of me I couldn’t get it open. My husband had to do it every time and he struggled. Not sure how I would’ve gotten in without him. The property was a bit of a far walk to pantheon and colosseum, so if those are your priority and your not super into walking, you’ll have to Uber.

Ricardo was phenomenal. He was a great host and was very responsive which is a huge comfort when you are traveling abroad. He included very detailed instructions on how to access the property. He even provided recommendations for restaurants. Room was clean and comfy and the espresso machine was wonderful! Everything we needed for a few days in Rome. Very close to the Vatican, so if that’s your main attraction this place is ideal.

In the end it was my fault for not reading the finer print, but I thought I'd be having a view of the Vatican. The photos are a bit misleading, but the text says it all properly, so I can't really complain.

I loved the clear and rapid communication with Riccardo. He made sure we had all the information for check-in and when a few things weren't perfect, he more than compensated. The location is great and again, Riccardo is a gem!

The location was perfect. Netflix access made this extra special. Late checkout was available to us. Riccardo was lovely and instantaneous in replying to our messages. He went out of his way to ensure we were able to self book in ourselves with comprehensive instructions including videos.
