How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

I had noisy inconsiderate neighbours, who chose to make a racket at midnight. Then drilling next door to me - starting from 8am.
I loved everything about this property, particularly to the intimate attention to detail. Right down to the different types of pillows.

Little tricky to find.
The value was excellent, space was nice, rooms were clean. We were welcomed with a bottle of wine, daily refilling of mini fridge with water, soft drinks, and a couple beers. Ordered breakfast daily was brought to the room on a cart and was substantial. Hotels can arrange taxis and transportation to/from airport. Rona and Sandro were friendly and very helpful. And AC worked perfectly!

Parking not included. On booking it showed parking as part of the amenities but it’s 12-13min away and rather expensive given the price of the room.
Beautiful rooms with stunning view of the fountain and church. Staff goes the extra mile to make the customer more than happy. You can even customize your breakfast order which is brought to your room to enjoy with the stunning view! Would absolutely recommend!!

I really can’t complain. The last time I sent my parents to Rome, the hotel was fancier, and the breakfast was outstanding, but this place was really a great value for the money. Everyone was happy.
The staff was very courteous and attentive. I loved the location. I could walk to a lot of restaurants and shops and a church. There was a restaurant right outside the door of the hotel. The staff booked a taxi when I needed one.

Maybe the noise late at night but we expected it before we booked - good earplugs helped us have a great sleep each night in the super comfy bed.
Fantastic location, staff were so welcoming and very polite, cannot fault this hotel - everything was exceptional. Loved the breakfast each morning and the parting gift of a bottle of Prosecco was a lovely touch on our final evening.

The AC was old and didn’t function properly during our stay in the middle of summer. It wasn’t u bearable but it was hot enough for the staff to provide a fan. The breakfast was ok and we found it to be inconsistent.
Staff was very friendly. Location was ideal. The hotel is located near a square with plenty of restaurants and is in walking distance of many main tourist attractions like Trevi fountain and the Pantheon. The room was cozy and clean. It was spacious and the bathtub was a nice touch.

Nothing to dislike at all.
The Location is amazing. Piazza Navonna and the surrounding streets are absolutely perfect. So central to everything. It's a safe and friendly area. The Apartment was sublime with super comfy bedding and bathroom. The delivery of Breakfast the Room was excellent value for money. The staff are customer service professionals. We could not be happier with this accommodation.

Great small place and cannot beat the location. Was a bummer the fountains in the piazza were all being repaired when we there but that's not the fault of the property. Our room was a bit warm but they had someone come and dial down the AC a bit for us. Lots of personal touches while we were there.

Room was basic enough for the money we paid for it.
Lovely location, loved the entrance to the hotel. We were given a bottle of Prosecco on arrival for our last night in Rome, however neither of us drink alcohol.

Nothing to dislike.
The personnel was like no other. So very attentive and helpful. Mary was so caring about our predicament as my sister’s knee needed ice. We were met at the curb and she helped us w our luggage. The other gals and Sandro were also helpful and nice. They arranged taxis for us and any transfer we needed. 10 out of 10. I give Rhea Silvia my highest recommendation!!

The location was perfect. The room and facilities were exactly as described and they really pay attention to every detail. They re-fill our fridge everyday and the breakfast was always deliver on time. The staff were incredible helpful, before and during our stay. Communication was great!
