Bunk beds have no railing or boards to prevent one from falling out. Same for the mezzanine that has no railing and an open staircase. Very stylish but not practical if you are travelling with kids.

Location is beautiful, with great views and great hiking. Very nice interior design. Food and drinks were good value for money (though very little choice for vegetarians).

Nothing wrong about property. Just a note to people: Drive up the mountain needs 1st gear. Also since it is at close to 2000m, your oxygen level may get a hit

The drive up took longer, because the Rifugio was pretty far up the mountain. It was not a problem, we just arrived a little later than planned, because it took longer than anticipated. This is not a negative reflection on the Rifugio de Doo, it was just our planning.

The location of this was almost indescribable. It was on top of a mountain with panoramic views of the Dolomites. It is very new and the accommodations were perfect. We arrived late on the evening of our stay, and the hosts still cooked us a delicious meal in a very short amount of time. The price for dinner was VERY reasonable. The breakfast was the best we had during our travels and was more than we could eat. The price for the room with included breakfast was more extremely reasonable. The hosts were also very friendly. We happened to be the only ones staying that night, so it was very peaceful. We only wish we had longer to hike and explore around the Rifugio.

We were two couples with the room with 2 double beds on split levels. Would have been nice with a non see through pattern on the glass door to the bathroom for a little privacy :)

The refugio is a little remote. Is situated on a ridge with fantastic views over the Dolomites. Very friendly and helpful owner and staff. Great restaurant with sublime food and a magnificent view. New rooms, great quality wood workmanship.

We really loved our stay at Rifugio do Doo, the place is quiet, high and away from any big roads or cities. The hosts waited for us and made sure we arrived safely. Our room was big, comfy, and (very) warm with all the comforts even though the rifugio has a real 'alpine' feel to it. We especially loved the balcony and views all around the rifugio. The breakfast was generous and coffee exceptionally good and the cook readily made us that second cup of cappuccino 🌞👌 we hope to come back soon!

Staff is a bit unfriendly. Cars can’t be parked at the feet of the rifugio, but restaurant guests can. Food too expensive for its value.

Location is great as views to the mountains are stunning. Eco-friendly lodge.

Really narrow and poor condition road to the top. Wouldn't recommend this road for nervous drivers. We wouldn't recommend this location as basecamp for doing daily trips around dolomites (the location is way too remote and hard for easy access with car). Rooms' balconies were connected together, meaning that anyone could walk past your room. Small parking place and you have to walk 200m from car with all your stuff.

Remote rifugio with amazing views. Friendly staff and good breakfast! Likely good for people that prefer to do daily hikes only from the hut.
