How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The staff were wonderful, the breakfast was a good standard. The power went out and the staff were there within 5 minutes to fix it. The Turkish shower was also a cool experience. Close enough to the city (40 minutes on the train or bus).

Very nice, clean, neat. Breakfast was very very good. Hosts were very friendly. Very, very satisfied Metro station is 2 bus stops from room and from there with metro you can get to any part of the city in 20-30min

Sound isolation could be better.
Very nice and friendly place with good facilities and close to public transportation. Clean and with a good sweet breakfast.

Shower! We were really annoyed coming back to the room after a long day and not being able to take a normal shower. The water pressure was very low and it was impossible to make the right water temperature. It's either too hot or ice cold. I reported that to the owner, but the reply was that it's a communal issue, which I'm sure it's not the case. It requires repair. Also the cabin is very small. TV had an issue with volume. Remote was reacting with delay so it happen that it turns up to max without possibility to stop it. Internet was also buggy from time to time.
Cleanliness!! Everything was very clean and the rooms were arranged daily. I couldn't notice anything dusty or dirty, big praise for that! Staff was friendly and we got a small brekfast package on our last day since we were leaving early. Breakfast was quite ok. There is a Netflix included and a big TV.

We did not like the area so much and we needed a long time to the City Center.
The Hosts were really nice, the breakfast was good and enough. I liked that it was very Clean.

Only either cold water or boiling water was pouring from the shower. No vegetables or fruit for breakfast Every morning we were woken up by some construction machinery (obviously not the fault of the owners of the facility here)
Very nice service ladies, clean, comfortable beds, breakfast a little monotonous without vegetables and fruit, but tasty. Bus stop in front of the building, you can quickly get to the metro.

I can´t think of anything
The breakfast was fine with homemade cakes, yogurt, ham, cheese etc. and good quick service. Everything has been prepared. A nice start of the day!

It was a bit far from the centre but close enough to the metro station that it wasn't too big of an issue.
Accomodation was incredible. Everything was clean and the staff was friendly and helpful.

The only thing is that it's an hour away from Termini and the center of Rome, if you use public transportation. So, plan accordingly.
The place was great, the staff was friendly and the breakfast was cute.

Location was on bus route to Metro. Owner woke up early to give us breakfast. Very nice of her. Friendly owner and she gave us good directions for train station and tourist areas.

Although there are a lot of public transport around, it is 50’ far from main touristic attractions.
Reality matches with the description. Very nice approach from the stuff. Toys around for the kids.

Highly recommed this apartment. It was freshly renovated, very clean and cosy. Better than expected. It is in 8th floor and please allow extra time to find the place, but when you will find it, you will be happy! It's in a multi-storey residential building, but really nice apartment for low cost.

The lady who welcomed us was really helpful and ready to cater all our needs. The breakfast was exceptional: we had traditional Italian cakes (ricotta blueberry cake, some kind of panettone) along with fresh croissants and bread and other pastries. We were asked how we would like to have our eggs (boiled, fried, scrambled, etc.). Cappuccino was excellent and prepared by the lady right in front of us. Any kind of information we were asking about Rome, everything was promptly clarified and the extra details we received were very helpful during our stay in Rome.
