Beautiful old interior

We booked a “secret garden” room with direct access to the courtyard and breakfast area. The lower room was large and well-equipped with a sofa, TV, fridge and kettle - with the bed on a mezzanine level. The bathroom was large as was the shower recess, with plenty of hot water. Breakfast included typical sweet and savoury selections plus boiled eggs. Coffee was to order. The hotel is an easy walk from the station, and to the major tourist sites and shopping areas. There are plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby. The staff were bright and cheerful. Would be happy to stay again.

Decor of room needs updating ,

Staff were excellent . We had a small issue with one room but it was rectified immediately. Breakfast was excellent for a 2 star property. Although room was very dated , the shower was good and the aircon was great. Nice touch to have a fresh water everyday in the room.

Unfortunately we could hear the visitors above through the floorboard old building ceilings which was a little bit annoying. But didn’t keep us awake luckily the must’ve gone to bed early.

The stairs up to the rooms were either wet or damp. Some work needed to be done to the wall on the staircase.

Breakfast was good and plenty of it. Room was a little on the small side. Location was ok. A little way away from the centre. Interesting building and history (most excellent pictures/paintings throughout)

Standard room is completely different from pictures provided: tiny, simple. Michelin tag was granted for higher level rooms for sure.

The bed was fairly hard and the pillows too flat. The room could also have used heavier curtains to block out the early morning light. The wifi was spotty in the room, although it was fine in the common areas.

I had no complaints about it at all.

Very nice once I found it (as it is quite discretely signed on the outside). Has a very "boutique" feel. Helpful staff, main town and sights a short walk down the hill. Good breakfast. Car parking available to be booked.

We had no complaints. There are stairs in order to get up to your room, so just be aware of that with heavy luggage.

Great location in Verona. You can walk everywhere from here. Perfect room for a couple and for the length of our stay.

Our room faced the main street which was a little noisy. Perhaps ask for a room away from the street.

The hotel is a 10 minute walk from the train station. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Lovely breakfast served in a quiet garden setting. The bathroom was clean and well stocked. Our room had a small balcony with large windows.

Clearer detail about door before arriving

Amazing service. Very friendly and helpful. Had difficulty entering but after a quick call it was explained which door to take. Great location and building.

We stayed in a superior room and although it was generally fine the bathroom was not quite up to standard. There were no hooks to hang things or space to put your toiletries. It wouldn’t take much to rectify this.

Very good location and easy to walk from into the centre. Small, friendly hotel which is quite quirky in its style and decor. Staff were exceptionally helpful.

Only 1 free Cappuccino at breakfast. I get that you'd not want folk to have 5 or 6 but it just felt a bit unfriendly.

Quick check in, lovely room and a wonderful breakfast. The hotel is close to the old town and the train station which worked well for us. They were happy to store our bags the next day.

Great location, very central and opposite the Museum. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Very reasonably priced as well. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Couldn't figure out the lights. Wobbling glass sliding door to bathroom , not very private and also hid the main light switch.

Great location, near the centre and also only 10 min walk from the station. Welcoming staff and a great breakfast selection, also really liked the room. We also had Netflix and other apps on the TV in our room which was a lovely surprise.
