Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

SwedenThe bed was damage, it was sounding just by breathing, the bathroom was so small and the water pressure was low, shower cabin is very small even for one person, only one small soap was provided for a couple. The place is located in the 7th floor, the elevator is very old and only works with a key which at the beginning you must use the stairs to access it. The balcony is dirty and very small.

RomaniaThe shower is very badly designed, the water comes from above and the shower cabin is tiny, making it a struggle, very annoying. No detergent for washing machine, which defeats the purpose, clothing iron not working, and only 2 doses of coffee. The balcony has no chair. Also the building is very old and elevator requires a key.

Bulgariait was so noisy in the evenings.they promissed that we will leave the baggage when we arrived but that was a lie.When we asked where to leave it,nobody answered the phone.We kindly asked to wait inside,they refuse and we waiting outside in 40 degrees.The elevator doesnt working and we are walking to the 7th floor with two big suitcases.We wound’t come again.

She asked we send a photo of our ID cards for the check-in which I refused to do and asked her to either come to the property or send online check-in form. We had to call Booking's Customer service department in order to get in the property. Also she hardly speaks any English...

Hong KongOwner don't answer call or reply text message, just let us wait in front of the building for 60 minutes (i.e. on the street). After we seek help from booking.com customer service, they start cleaning the room, totally we spent 98 minutes for check in (from 16:00 - 17:48). This experience I ever have before....

PolandMy room was in the dining room, in the kitchen actually, it wasn’t ok, nobody’s informed me about that earlier. It was sooo loud, very uncomfortable, the balcony is not useful at all, because locators from room next, could look into balcony door. And also, I booked all apartment but when I arrived it was showed that I had only room and very bad lactated in that apartment.
