How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Location was perfect, a few mins walk from seafront. Lovely spacious room, so clean. Rita and Elena so welcoming and helpful. Tea & coffee available. Would definitely stay here again.

Although we stayed in mid-September, when it is not the peak season, it was not easy to find parking in the area.
The location is good, a short walk to the city center, the room is clean, the staff is helpful.

The room we had was'nt soundproof, so we could hear the activity in the lobby and in the apartment upstairs. We would stress, though, that the positives of our stay FAR outweighed this issue. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it wholeheartedly.
The hosts and staff were attentive, welcoming, very friendly, and helpful. It was a pleasure to stay at Terre Bianche. From a lovely breakfast to being able to get a coffee or hot chocolate at any time of the day or night, our stay was enjoyable and comfy. The hotel is perfectly situated to enjoy the old town in just a short easy walk. It was everything you'd want in a short stay. Highly recommend!

Despite free parking in the surrounding area, it was still very difficult to park and it was a relatively longish walk into the old town and to restaurants.
Lovely clean and comfortable room with a good bathroom and shower and comfortable bed. Everything worked ok and there were extra nice touches such as bottled water and a coffee maker plus kettle in the common area.

Parking can be a bit hard. It’s best to have a small car.
So bright, big and beautiful! Lovely facilities and the people who work there are so nice, friendly and helpful.

Terre Bianche is a small hotel. The service delivered was thoughtful, friendly and very personal in a good way. They came up with suggestions for visits, restaurants and nice events taking place. Everything was focused on giving us a relaxing, enjoyable time.

Elena and Rita were very kind and friendly, gave very useful information and recommendations, helped in every questions. The location is very good, with a convenient walk it easy to reach the sea, the harbour, and the city center. The room was clean.

Even though there is free wifi, it wasn't strong enough to be able to connect when you're inside the room.
The host and the staff were so nice and helpful. The breakfast was excellent. The room was very clean. It is located very close to the center of Alghero, you could simply walk.

Street parking tricky, but doable. No courtesy bottled water upon arrival.
Property manager spoke English so well and had many wonderful suggestions for cafes and restaurants. Location was walkable to downtown, bed was firm and comfortable, room was clean and well kept. Wi-Fi worked well.

It was very very clean and the stuff were friendly, ready to help and to provide us with info about what to do and where to go in Alghero. We really enjoyed our stay there and would definitely recommend it. It is also close to the old town.

Parking was on the road but getting into a spot early made it easier.
Great base for seeing the town, very walkable. Breakfast on the pavement brilliant and the staff were lovely. It has no real view as such but then didn't expect one. Great Breakfast with good coffee and tea. Plenty of fruit, muesli, croissants etc. Seconds if you want. Visit the beach bar and watch the sun go down! A MUST!!! Burger sliders and cocktails.

Nice location and excellent service provided by Rita and Elena! 3 min walk to sea boulvar. Very nice breakfast service. Easy but fresh and tasty :) Coffee and tea 24h free available !

Parking place near the hotel hard to find.
Located very close to the city center (max. 10 minutes walking distance), very clean and confortable room. Out hosts Rita and Elena were super friendly and helpful, giving us tips about locations to eat or drink. Nice breakfast, great coffee and tea provided during the day. Rita even prepared for us a small pack to take with us when we went to the beach.

Both Helena and Rita are exceptional hosts. The room and lobby were spotless and comfortable and had all the amenities we needed. The breakfast was delicious and satisfying with a good selection of savory and sweet dishes. Rita is so very pleasant and amenable. Grazie!

Only problem is if you are with a car the parking is very limited
