I pre paid for this hotel via booking.com when I arrived the front desk the employee asked for payment and I informed him I had already paid and he said that I had not. I checked my credit card and the booking app which both confirmed I had in fact paid. I told him this and He said I was wrong and I had not paid. so then I asked him to check with a superior to which he said no and insisted I had not paid he said I was welcome to call my booking agent and they will tell me that I had not paid. So I contacted booking.com and they confirmed I had paid. They then contacted him via phone and email to confirm this and finally I was allowed to check in. This process took 40 minutes of myself telling the concierge I had paid and had proof and him telling me I was wrong and refusing to entertain the idea otherwise and also refusing to help resolve the matter. I don’t remember getting an apology. My room was quite dirty, not vacuumed very well and surfaces were not clean. Also found I had a room with a circular bed which was not in any photos or descriptions if so I would not have booked the room. The comforter had bodily fluid stains. Made more uncomfortable by the fact then when you turn on the tv Redtube was one of the options on the main menu right next to weather and tourist info. This hotel wasn’t an enjoyable part of my holiday.

Hotel is lovely area is safe literally steps from the Spanish steps and walkable to most of main sites. Our room for 3 was plenty big enough and very clean and comfortable. Love the quirky bits of hotel - our room entrance was part of the old spiral staircase. Breakfast was great and plentiful highly recommend

The only downside was going up and down the Spanish Steps every time I wanted to hit the heart of Rome. The other option was tackling this steep street, but either way, there was always a bit of a workout involved. Not the hotel's fault, though. Just something to keep in mind, especially because getting a taxi in Rome can be a bit of a gamble.

My recent stay at this gem of a hotel was truly delightful. Tucked away in a prime location, I was greeted by a team of incredibly friendly and accommodating staff. The room was not only clean but also exuded a modern charm that instantly made me feel at home. Each morning, I looked forward to the delicious breakfast spread, served with a side of impeccable service. The front desk team went above and beyond to ensure my stay was nothing short of exceptional. I can't speak highly enough of my experience here – it's a definite must for anyone looking for a memorable getaway.

The mattress was hard and they supplied one pillow per person and it was so uncomfortable we couldn’t sleep. Went down to ask for more pillows middle of the night. There was no blanket on the bed either except for the bedspread.

Our double room was tiny and the toilet seat was broken . There was a bad smell in our room the entire stay … no stopper and n the sink and lack of vanity area for ladies to do make up/ hair etc … the spa is a nice hit tummy and sauna not worth €35 pp at all ! As a hotel guest you should be able to book this for free ..

VERY UNCOMFORTABLE BEDS! A/C did work properly ! Turned to 16 but still 23 in morning, hot UNCOMFORTABLE night! Toilet didn't work ,TV didn't work ,bathroom not cleaned properly and no sink plug just a big hole that I lost an down!

Great hotel staff. Very helpful with recommendations for dinner. Very helpful if we had questions about how to get to different areas (which metro station to get off at etc). EXCELLENT BREAKFAST. They had everything! So amazing! Fantastic location near the top of the Spanish Steps/close to a metro stop. Summoned a cab for us upon departure. Would definitely stay here again!

The best part is the location which is right on the top of the Spanish Steps. All the historic locations and designer shops are walking distance. 15 min taxi ride from Roma Central Station. The breakfast was great and the services were the best (I wouldn’t expect anything less from Italy where the services are always awesome and friendly). The room was huge, with roman cathedral ceilings and walls covered in fabric which made room’s acoustics perfect to finish the day in the spa watching sailing races on a huge panel TV. The management gave us a bottle of champagne and a discount at their restaurant (my wife is very good looking and gets these kind of bonuses everywhere :)) Great stay.
