THE ROAD UP THE HILL IS TOTALLY UNMATKED...NO REFLECTORS. IT WAS DAUNTING THE FIRST TIME I DROVE UP AT NIGJT. I GOT USED TO IT THOUGH...THAT IS THE ONLY NEGATIVE POINT ' BUT THE TRADE OFF WAS THE QUIET, VIEW, AND PRIVACY. I WILL GO BACK...

The position on the top of the mountain. Paula, the manager was great. There were two Lively dogs.

There is nearly nothing that I did not like. Maybe the barking dogs were sometimes a bit annoying, but that is all.

Not much except for the fact that we couldn’t walk anywhere as it’s up a hill , but we did know that before booking .

Amazing views, gorgeous pool,excellent facilities including table tennis, darts , table football , tables and chairs to eat and drink outside enjoying the view which was especially nice if you booked a room facing the mountain . Generous, friendly and easy going hosts made our stay very relaxed.

There wasn't anything.

The Lemon Tree is an exceptional holiday home resort. The grounds including the pool area are beautifully landscaped with plants and flowers throughout. The view from the patio is breath taking and there is ample seating to relax and take it in. Our two bedroom apartment was spacious, well equpped and comfortable. I cannot think of anything that was missing. The best part of our stay was our hosts Karen and Diego. They were very welcoming and made sure we were comfortable whilst we were there. They go above and beyond in providing recommendations for places to eat and things to do. For a minimal fee they also provided a shuttle service into Taormina which saved us the headache of parking . I would definately rate this a10/10...

It completely exceeded our expectations. In pictures looks beautiful but in real life is stunning! The whole place is nicely designed and well kept. We loved the pool & game area, super relaxing atmosphere with everything you need. The apartment is pretty, it’s big enough for 4/5 people and it’s well equipped. Paola welcomed us and she’s fantastic, full of tips for the area and always available. Also we highly recommend to have dinner the first night you arrive, Karen cooks simply delicious food and it’s accompanied by local wine & homemade limoncello. Diego is always there to help and have a nice chat. What else to say, the view from the top is amazing and totally worth it after the winding road.

The villa is located on a hilltop with amazing views of Etna and Taormina/Castelmola which we enjoyed from our terrace. Apartment was spotlessly clean with everything we needed and more. The pool was the perfect temperature and it was so nice to relax away from the hustle and bustle. Karen, Diego and Paola were fantastic hosts and Karen made us an amazing welcome meal. You can tell it’s a special and well loved place to visit :)

Car is necessary to get to the beach and Taormina. In Taormina is a parking house which is quiet expensiv. There is no breakfast option which would upgrade the accomendation in my eyes.

Great view over Taormina especially from the pool. Nice relaxing area with pingpong and kicker table. Very friendly staff and owners. We really enjoyied our stay. Parking in front of the house for free. Really recommendable.

Karen and Diego will treat u like extended family! We were so sad to leave! Will be back and spend at least a week at this fantastic town and will only stay at The Lemon Tree ! Don't miss this for the world !!

We had a lovely 7 night stay at The Lemon Tree, the hosts Karen, Diego and Paola were really welcoming and friendly - great communication and very quick to respond. They were very helpful in recommending places to visit and restaurants to eat out at. The swimming pool was lovely and quiet, there's a nice shared terrace and the apartment was very clean. It's a very peaceful and relaxing place with great views across to Taormina and Castelmola. You do need a car to get around and explore from here, there are plenty of parking spaces at the property.

For us it was a bit quiet but if you like this then it’s the perfect location. The roads are difficult to navigate and so even though we had a car at night we chose to get a taxi most of the time to the restaurants. It’s only 10 mins from Taormina so all very close by.

Incredible views and stunning property but what made this were the hosts Karen Diego and Paola. There were amazing- it was like having your own personal concierge. They couldn’t be more helpful! Nothing was too much trouble from mosquito repellants to restaurant advice; boat trip booking or directions, just incredible! Thank you you made our trip. The apartment was large clean and comfortable and the pool was a welcome relief in the hot days.

We had an excellent stay at the Lemon Tree. The place is perfect to discover the area around Toarmina. Nice facilities such as swimming pool, table tennis, great breakfast and optional dinner. Thanks Karen & Diego! We will come back in the future.

I feel that it is important to inform guests of special events that are occurring at the property. We were surprised to discover that a wedding reception was taking place right beside us. They were lovely people and the noise was not too loud, however, other guests may not be that receptive - and we did make new friends!

Prepare for sporty ride uphill with sharp turns and steep slopes, especially at night.

Absolutely nothing - all fabulous.

Hosts had a lot of time for us and our questions. Very knowledgeable of the area and great advise re shops, parking etc. Accommodation was incredible (suite). Very clean, comfortable, amazing views from terrace and side balcony - Taormina, Castelmola, Mount Etna & sea. Didn't want to leave!! Thank you chaps.

Nothing negative to say. The first time we did the 2km drive up the hill there were a lot of bends but we got used to it and the road is in fine condition with useful signs to The Lemon Tree. We also used the Taormina transfer service which was very handy.

We loved The Lemon Tree. Such a lovely place to stay. My son is keen to go back and I can't say I disagree with him! The owners were very welcoming and it's a real home from home. The apartment has been put together very thoughtfully- so a great selection of cooking items etc. The facilities were great fun for a family- pool, table football and table tennis. We tried several of the local restaurant recommendations and enjoyed them. The view from the terraces is amazing 🤩 We only wished we'd been able to stay longer. Next time!
