How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

There was nothing we disliked.
The owner was very friendly. He pays attention to the smallest details and offers advice on places to eat and sites to see. Our room was very clean and the hotel and area are quiet. The breakfast was well stocked and the food was fresh and tasty.

Super friendly staff. Everyone was lovely. Even though I don’t speak much Italian the ones that didn’t speak much English did everything they could to help me. The staff was amazing. Recommend this hotel.

Everything was perfect
Beautiful hotel, and cat. Hosts are very kind and hospitable/accommodating. We arrived two hours late (didn’t see the check in time at first glance GPS looked a lot closer) but the host was nice enough to accept us anyway 🙏 real Italian hospitality here ☺️

Great hotel. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. Everything is clean and tidy. They have a varied selection and the option of a gluten-free breakfast. The gentleman refused to charge us for breakfast. He is really very friendly and spoke English. The prices are normal and not usurious. Highly recommend if you're in the area. I don't understand the Bidet. Weird

Breakfast was fine. The owner was extremely polite and very helpful, nothing was an issue. When we paid for our breakfast bill, he said that is fine, I said but we had a tea and a coffee in the bar last night, he replied that is free.

I had requested a late check-in due to our long journey, and kindly enough, the owner or the person at the reception specially waited for us. This thoughtful gesture made a significant difference in our travel plans, and I truly appreciated their flexibility. Upon arrival, we were pleasantly surprised to find that the hotel had upgraded us to a larger room than the one we had initially booked. The room was spacious and also clean. Another highlight was the view from our room, directly looking onto the pretty Dolomites (see room view picture). It was a sight that added an extra layer of beauty to our stay. Each morning, we enjoyed a nice breakfast that is worth the money. On one occasion, we almost overslept and arrived at the breakfast area just 10 minutes before closing time. Without knowing or asking, the staff graciously allowed us to finish our breakfast. This small act of kindness helped us starting the day well so we could continue our travel plan. We used the hotel for going to Venice and the Dolomites by car. The Wifi was good. If I am in the area again I would definitely return to this hotel!

Check-out is up to 10:30 am but at 10:00 my room had already been taken over by the cleaning ladies.

I came with electric car. There is charger in front of hotel. I could not charge it. Reported this to the reception and they just accepted it as a fact and did not help me to communicate with providers (I do not speak Italian). Probably their call to the provider would help and I would leave the hotel next day with fully charged car.

The place is great. The house keeper is very friendly and speaks very good English. If I am about to go in that region again, I would definitely stay at the same place.

I asked for a double bed but there was only a single bed but it's ok for me it's not a big problem.
I really liked it, it has a safe place to store the motorcycle and the environment is very clean and cozy and the staff are very nice

The heating didn't work and after a day in the rain and 2 degrees above zero on the motorbike, apart from a hot shower, a heater to dry the clothes would have been very welcome.
