It was too noisy, there was too much local traffic and facility did not provide any towels.

Nothing it’s great.

Drifters is right on 7 mile beach, the best sunset you’ll ever see is right outside the door. The staff are amazing, super friendly, and helpful. The bar is great and there’s great live music on the stage. I liked it so much I booked it again for a few days before I left Jamaica and I will be back next year.

Be warned... it's a beach bum crash pad, so don't expect a Four Seasons penthouse. 🙂

The energy here is fun and authentic! Remember that beat-up little corner store from when you were a kid? It's actually part of the property! 🙂 The bandstand is often rockin', and there's a good pasta joint across the street. 🙂

Nothing. It was all great!

Amazing location right out to the sea! Very affordable! Amazingly fun music concerts a couple times a week. There is a convenience store with all.linds of recognizable goodies from US and beyond. Lovely Jamaican candies, pralines etc..., there is a restaurant as well as bar area. Pot smoke is heavy during concerts..at least it's mostly not cigarettes. Lots of Canadians. My son who is 11 begged to leave. He went in to play video games with his friends. We spent 3 days there with my friends...children playing together, swimming...so.lovely!

Single beds for husband and I could us upgrade. Mattress thin..bed could b upgraded. But some rooms are upgraded. Could use a lamp for nice lighting rather than bare bulb

Good location to walk to the main centre, 10-15mins. Ideal spot on the beach. Good base if your looking to tour the west & south coast.

Nothing I can honestly say was a disappointment. Exceeded my expectations ,and if your looking for great price and negril is great place to be ,meet new people and chill drifters has it all and more

Everything about drifters is brilliant ,the vibe ,the staff, the entertainment , the owner and his wife are so lovely ,Luddy sings a couple of times week with resident reagea band fantastic ! A duo crystal and tiesh brown are on Tuesdays too!the bar is packed with people who come from all over to join in the entertainment. even people staying in expencive hotels and nothing is too much for the staff ,home from home , the room I had was basic but had all I needed clean and bed was very comfortable and considering it's a hostel I was pleased with the facilities ,I could cook or eat out plenty local restraunts cheap and cheerful.. supper Market right next door and littrely a few metres from beach. I was poorly during my stay and mandez the manager made me best soup ever checked on me through out ,faye the cleaner ...but so much more... is so kind and caring, nothing too much trouble and even put me in touch with a driver who took me round the island, I felt so safe and price was brilliant too .It was an amazing stay and i met lots of different guest travelling through from all over the world , I am deffenatly going back again .if your not looking for 5 star hotel and like to be sociable its the place to be entertainment 5 times week but not going on late 3pm 7pm so not noisy or keeping you up late,plenty of late entertainment close enough if you want it and for =£1 you can get local taxi to town for larger super market ,pitzas burger King etc I went to the gospel church on Sunday... not to missed what an experience, ricks cafe is =£2 ride 2 taxi away too. local cab brilliant day out,music playing free to enter but little more expencive for food drink defenatly a must to go there tho jump off 70 foot cliff or enjoy watching others if not brave enough.sun set around 5.30 ish amazing ,catamarans, boats scaterd on the water ,oppertunities brill photos from the deck while music playing people chatting brilliant spot

They disclose NO air conditioner. Wow. You cannot sleep without it. Mosquitos problem I was affected by this plus too hot. The beach I did not like. Had algaes , Wifi was an issue. Negril area or seven mike beach. I did not like it , irbid on Main Street. There are mini bus or taxis to help you visit around. Or to take you to bus shuttle from airport. Knutsworth express a/c & affordable , located inside airport. From Negril bus station ask for local taxis to resorts or restaurants very affordable . 200 Jamaica’s or $1.5 , nearby restaurant JamWest 2 miles with local taxi ,

We like everything.

We spent one night at difters our original room was still occupied. However, we got another just as nice and cosy. Therefore, if you are looking for a weekend break and your on a budget difters is the place to be.

I wish my room had a lower window so I could see the ocean, but for this price I am more than happy to step out of my room and walk a few steps!

As a solo female traveler safety is important. I love how the security guard let me know that I would be safe and that Drifters is more like family. Plus you cannot beat the location!

I didn’t like anything about this place this place look like a sex shop no ac and the fans don’t work right in the room is nothing like what they put on the website if someone want a place to get away and relax for a day r 2 please don’t make the mistake like me and choose drifter’s it’s the worst place ever the beds are tough n uncomfortable

The location was ok but the place is a mess as you walk in the building you can smell a stench smell I have to go in my car and take out the air freshener to put it in the room for us to sleep I have never rented a place and experience this yet that Rasta gal n him Rasta man need to deal with the place and let guess can be more relax and comfortable I was planning to spend 2 nights but I have to leave the next morning. And because I write my review before I leave the owner was upset but if they were professional they would try and see what is the problem and try and fix it I would not even recommend my worse enemy to this place sir /madam go and get rid of your funky smell and stop being offended .
