Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

NetherlandsNothing. It's perfectly suited for a couple, but also convenient enough for a couple + 1 child.
It's a little paradise next to the beach, with a garden that is frequented by the Doctors Bird and many more. The room with terrace gives a magnificent 240° view with beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Peggy offers drinks and conversation in the bar. We decided not to go anywhere else, only the next-door beachclub Lashings for dinner and drinks, Sunday night music and a small but nice swimming pool.

GermanyGreat little apartments (w/ or w.o kitchen) next to the beach, little oasis, quite, comfy and spacious. Great host and helper on the property. Bed are big, large bathroom including walk-in showers. Littler veranda to hang out. Definitely recommend to stay with Peggy when you are at Treasure Beach.

United KingdomThe house has a beautiful garden and a fantastic location for both hiking/exploring and for going to the local restaurants and small bars. The hosts are friendly, warm and welcoming but never overbearing. The area is quiet and all you can hear are the waves. The safest swimming spot is very close by, and there are a couple of small conveniences stores within 10min walk too. The whole property and set up are very authentic - you won’t feel like you’re anywhere (with the currently dominant white and grey/wood interiors and aesthetic), you will feel like you are in Jamaica. The house has murals by the local artist and is tastefully decorated. The view from the balcony is unrivalled!

Everything was great - Marco is a phenomenal manager and made sure we were very comfortable. It was a really perfect spot to relax, and a great base to go and explore Treasure Beach. Marco also organised a tour for us, which was brilliant, and got us to and from Montego Bay airport very smoothly.

Wow. The architecture and grounds are Jamaica unique. The person who built it seemed to have an inspiration for round shapes and gardens that flow together. We booked the upper room with the balcony which was stunning for its views of Calabash Bay and the starry nights. The colors and sculptures only added to the experience. There is a tiny walk down a trail right to the beach where you might take a detour on a hammock. A ver nice outdoor shower to rinse off the saltwater and sand. The host, Marco was fantastic. He knew how to work with people like us who didn’t know the ins and outs of getting around in Jamaica. He has a very nice van that he uses to shuttle people when he is available. He even took is to a lesser known waterfall Breadnut Falls in Maggoty, where he had never himself been as most travelers go to YS Falls from there. The whole place is immaculate and our room was spotless. Cleanest place we stayed in Jamaica. We met the cleaner who seemed to solely clean all the rooms. She was so nice and we could tell she was on top of her game. Can’t overlook saying something about Treasure Beach and the community there. The Kudeha was within walking distance either by beach or road to the restaurants and shops, but only for a relatively fit person. Not wheelchair accessible or sidewalks. One has to be able to step out of the way of cars and motorcycles on a narrow road. We enjoyed the walk and felt totally safe. The local folk are kind and helpful. Best breakfasts are at Smurfs Cafe. There are numerous very good restaurants on the beach to enjoy the vibe and sunset. We found Eggys to be a good meeting place for dominoes and beers and more conversations with locals and travelers alike. The wellness center in treasure beach has walk-in yoga every morning at 8:30 am for a reasonable price. The Yogi Sasisiva knew just how to work with a class of passers-through. The setting was lovely.

United StatesI didn’t like that I had to leave! Next time I’ll take water shoes so I can swim more places.
KuDehya Guesthouse made my vacation dreams come true. We stayed in the Dehya room (upstairs) which has a big, partly shaded balcony overlooking the sea. Ceiling fan, screens on the windows and the sound of the waves crashing on the rocky shoreline made it perfect. Our room was freshly painted with a comfy bed and well appointed bathroom. Coffee and tea are provided but bring your own milk. Our friend stayed in the Seagrape room downstairs which has 2 outdoor sitting areas. KuDehya is at the end of a little street and very quiet location within walking distance to restaurants. The gardens are lovely and there is a beach for swimming about 5 minutes walk. Marco, the onsite caretaker, is the perfect host. He’s available when you need him and has great suggestions for local dining and sightseeing. We hope to return!

LithuaniaEverything was great, but if you a primitive 5 star all inclusive tourist please do’t go and don’t spoil this place as it is not for you
Very lovely place. Calm and with great views. Grab the room on top with a terrace - here is just stunning views! The owner Peggy is wonderful Canadian women. Its a pleassure to have a talk with her sitting in her bar (with very reasonable prices). Near by there are also some shops and nice beach with local friendly firshermens where you can take a swim. Also bars (we loved Eggy’s bar with wonderful rasta owner). There is no brekfadt but its worth walking to great breakfats place called Smurf’s cafe. Also we liked to grab some jerk pirk or chiken just on the street. If you need a driver there is Marcus who can drive you to desired destination for reasonable prices (of course after some barging - he took us nn YS falls and later to Kingston). So this is the place for people who want to relax naturally and to meet locals. It’s no hurry and not tol touristic places. That’s why so wonderfull!

PolandI had the pleasure of staying at Kudehya in Treasure Beach, and it truly was a remarkable experience. Located in a quiet area right by the sea, this place is a tranquil heaven. The property is surrounded by a lush and beautiful garden. The rooms are cozy, clean and tastefully decorated. What set this place apart, however, were the hosts, Peggy and Marco. They ensured that every aspect of my stay was enjoyable, offering assistance and local insights. Having explored several places in Jamaica, Kudehya stands out as an exceptional retreat. My memories of this place are the highlight of my entire journey.

United StatesThere really isn't an easily accessible beach for swimming, but there is a long stretch for walking.
KuDehya is a wonderful place to stay in Treasure Beach. We had the second-floor room, and the view from the terrace there is endlessly spectacular, from the sea during the day to the moon and stars at night. The room is spacious, clean, and bright. The bathroom is huge with an excellent shower. Marco is on site throughout the day and is extremely helpful and warm.
