It had something that looked like a hot tub but it wasn’t. Not a big deal but I would’ve enjoyed that.

As a survivor of bringing back bedbugs on a trip to Mexico I value cleanliness the most. I picked Toby’s based on good cleanliness reviews and it turned out to be perfect for my needs. I ended up also using the pool and getting breakfast and both were quite good. I also enjoyed the deck area off my room.

It's dated; there have been some attempts at renovation and updates, but you can still see the age of the facilities and the rooms. It's not a deal break, mostly an observation. The WIFI/Internet wasn't as fast as high speed but was adequate. The water pressure in the shower is sub-optimal; while I could take a shower and be fine, had my wife traveled with me, she wouldn't be able to wash her hair. There appeared to be a pretty limited hot water supply for my room (probably because there are solar water heaters for each room). Finally, while checking in, you are given the TV and AC remotes, which is just an oddity that tells more of the clientele than it does of the hotel itself.

The hotel's location is unbeatable, and its prices are very reasonable. I was on a quick trip and needed a safe and comfortable place, and Toby's delivered on these two main requirements. The staff I interacted with at the front desk and at the restaurant were all delightful and helpful.

Poor showers...water pressure low & often cold or scalding hot. Expensive restaurant...food only ok. Some staff on reception desk surly & not very helpfull.

Rooms were a little dated but comfortable.

The property was reasonable priced for its location and facilities. The food was good and reasonably price. The staff were friendly and accommodating.

The door to the room was not properly sealed and my spouse is very afraid of lizards. I had to stuff the door as much as I can with used towels and my clothes to prevent them coming in. There were trees close by so we saw a few little lizards at nights.

The staff was exceptionally nice, willing to assist, check on us if we are ok. Dining staff was very good, Oraine or what his name was is world class. Food was tasty, presentation was very good too. Location was very convenient. I will definitely stay at this hotel again.

I tried to get a airport taxi from them, but they never answered me. Shower was horrible. There just wasn't any water pressure and it was quite difficult to wash you hair with that small water that came from the shower.

Location is ok. It is walking distance from the "center" (but it is not a nice walk) and close to the airport. The restaurant people are super nice, big thank's for them. Room was big, clean and there were everything you need. It is a beautiful place and looks like they take a good care of it.

Ants in bathroom and the remotes never work. After security turns everything on, once he leaves the room you can't change the stations. I had the same issue when I stayed in May. Parking can be a little tight be doable.

The staff was excellent Carly was fast and kind. Tamara was assisting other guests but both were very welcoming. I love that we can walk to dead end beach. Or Starbucks.
