How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Small bathroom, but fair, considering the reasonable price.
Staff were exceptionally helpful. Someone was there to greet us at 3am. The room was clean. The location is very close to the city centre, easy to walk into town.

Exceptionally clean and close to ATMs and restaurants. Quiet and no road noise. Upon arrival Amjad provided us with lots of useful advice for our stay in Jordan, as well as information on the area which was also incredibly helpful. Breakfast the following day was delicious. Amjad’s kind and friendly welcome and advice helped make our stay and our trip to Jordan an enjoyable one. We will definitely be back!

Small bathroom but functional

If you are looking for a budget place to stay in downtown Amman then this is a very good choice. Within walking distance to many main attractions, if you are planning to be out and about and just need a comfortable bed to sleep in and somewhere to use as a base then this is a good choice.

I had an excellent stay at this hotel. It’s located in a top area, good connected and safe. The rooms are spacious, clean. The staff was always friendly and attentive, making sure everything was perfect during my stay. Special mention to Mohammad, who took care of everything from the moment I arrived. He gave me great local recommendations, arranged all my taxis, and was always available to help. Also, thanks to Abdalelah for his kind service in the mornings. I would definitely stay here again.

Nothing at all.
Room was spotless and spacious , great location 15min walk to roman theatre. Staff incredibly friendly and couldn't do anymore. Breakfast good. Special mention to Saber our taxi driver organised by the hotel. We left our bag with money and passports in back of taxi at airport . Only realised after getting into airport, he had contacted hotel that texted us to let us know so we got it back safely a very kind move.

It’s on the main road so it may be a little noisy at night, however the location is fantastic- super close to all the sights.
The room was clean, the staff were helpful and we had breakfast included!!

The bathroom in our room was TINY. I mean really tiny. When sitting on the loo, the knees would touch the opposite wall. Getting in and out was actually difficult for an athletic person of normal height (1.80m). Also, the room faced a busy street and cars honked day and night.
Very friendly staff and centrally located so you can walk to all the major attractions. Room and beds were very clean. Roadside parking and also a paid parking lot available nearby. The area is full of market stalls by day and by night, all the hustle and bustle, with food options until late.

I can’t say I “didn’t like” because I didn’t get to stay long enough to comment on location, maybe the only advice I can give travellers in February - Amman is colder than you can imagine, bring some extra warm clothes and contact the property on your arrival to ask them to turn the heating on.
I like how amazing the staff were and how well organised, the fact that they spoke good English but went above and beyond to support me - with my laptop that was giving me issues on the night of my arrival! I am so grateful.

Toilets/shower were a bit small
Friendly staff and great location right in the heart of downtown Amman. Abdalelah was exceptional in advising about what to visit and how. We forgot a scarf in the room on checkout and Abdalelah has secured it for us. Abdalelah helped us to park the car in a side road with free parking when we arrived.
