Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesOur room was dirty and dark. There was a dead cockroach on the floor along with a lot of debris. Not walking distance to much of anything.
The communal space, in particular the eating/entertainment area was awesome. The staff were great! Food from the kitchen was amazing!

The resort was lovely with beautiful gardens and pool. We had a room with a kitchen area which was very useful. The staff were extremely welcoming and helpful on check in. The reception and bar area is clean and nicely set up with information for guets. There is free water at the bar from a water filter. The room was clean and fresh linen. The mattress was foam so while it was comfortable for me it wasn't as comfy for him (he has a body full of metal after a motorcycle accident so he finds it difficult to sleep on most mattresses). Shower room was clean and good strength shower with hot water. We stayed in room 17 at the back of the resort so it was lovely and quiet in the evening chilling outside under our mango tree. We only stayed one night as it was a last minute decision after a busy day working but would definately stay again and try their food - the menu looked amazing. Ask the staff for mosquitoes sticks as naturally there is a garden so in the tropics that brings mosquitoes. We used the jostick and didn't get bitten at all.

Czech RepublicWe had shared bathroom, it was fain. At least we were missing a towel holder, we put everything in the sink/toilet. It's a shame that even though there is a swimming pool in the area, there is nothing in the room to hang towels and swimsuits. I'm not picky, but such a small thing helps a lot not to carry wet things.
Great area to spend time and relax. Staff tried to give the best care. Super service with motorbike rental.

New ZealandThese are all minor things and would not stop us from staying again. Sometimes there was communication issues with the kitchen about swaps on some of the menu items. Distance from the main town and the location wasn't on grab in order to support getting tuk tuks.
Our stay was enjoyable, checkin went well, rooms were fit for purpose, they have a couple of different pools to swim in which was good. At the time of year we were staying (temperature 25-33 Celsius) we had rooms without aircon but with a main roof fan and a pedestal fan, this was more than suitable for us.

United KingdomRoom was fairly basic and the road leading to it is a bit of a nightmare to drive down but then that’s just Cambodia in general. Could increase the options on their happy hour drinks
Had a mini kitchenette in the front porch of our room. Two pools, jacuzzi and steam room all for guest use. Cheap drinks, friendly staff and decent food. Good location.

United KingdomRoom was very good value for a family and the bunk beds were well planned with individual lights and sockets. The bathroom is large and there is a hot shower. The pool area has recently been updated and there are 2 pools (one natural and one with chlorine). There is also a jacuzzi and spa area. (The massage was very good and reasonably priced) The gardens are attractive and well maintained , The restaurant and bar area is open plan and there is a pool table and football game. The menu is varied and good quality. The staff and owners are friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is very relaxed and the main staff have been there a long time (which is always a good sign)

United KingdomCleanliness. Not cleaned well before we arrived
Lovely local staff. Decent food. Room was big and airy, just shame about cleanliness. Hadn’t been hoovered properly or wiped down in a long time. Doesn’t help the roof drops little bits around the place but still. Facilities good but bit outdated. Could do with some TLC! For the price it’s great and nice calm atmosphere.

GermanyFor the scooter rental you need to give to passport or 500$ Deposit. The woman at the Desk was also not really friendly as we asked about the rental, so we decided to go to town.
The location is outside of the city Center - so it is quite and relaxing. They have a natural Pool where you can swim (colder than outside but still warm). The room was big and really nice for making your own meals. You have everything you need for cooking + Salt and Pepper. The AC is not that strong but in combination with a Fan good. The bathroom is small but good. You can refill your water for free which is really good.

GermanyThe house I stayed in was a bit run old. The mosquito net was quite dirty and there were a lot of spiderwebs on the walls and the roof. The extra inside-lock of the door wasnt closing properly. Also one of the windows didn‘t lock because the counterpart mechanism was broken so the window also could be opened from outside.
They are a little bit out of town in nature, it is quite a lovely place and the yoga Barn is just around the corner and the guests of bohemiaz get a discount at their yoga sessions. The whirlpool and Pool are great. I also liked the lake-like Pool, but my Bikini was all green and smelly afterwards :/ They have the best porridge for breakfast! And the avocado toast is also a very generous portion. I liked also that they have a billard table and offer Spa treatments :) you can really relax and enjoy your time there.
