Petra, the owner is one of a kind. She makes excellent breakfast and tell you all about the city you want to know. Her helping hand TomTom has his own tuktuk and drives you wherever you need to go.

The perfect peaceful stay in PP :) the host, Petra, was so kind and warm, I felt welcomed immediately. The atmosphere is very relaxed and like home. I slept so well and forgot about the chaos of the city. I'll be back soon. Thank you! Best bits: - location is great, near my favorite neighborhood for coffee and food - room was clean and bed was very comfy, great value for the quality - quiet and calm - breakfast was great and coffee was good! Simple but tasty - Petra really goes above and beyond to make you feel at home.

it was perfect.

This was our second stay at Dutch House - we stayed when we first came to Cambodia, and then again 3 1/2 weeks later. It felt like we were coming home! Petra and Mr Tom Tom greeted us like old friends and made us feel at home. Location is relatively quiet yet with markets and restaurants within a couple of blocks.

Comfortable, quiet, homey, inviting! Very gracious and accommodating host (she let me use the room way past check-out time as I had a late flight). The Dutch in me felt comfortable and nostalgic. Good conversations and helpful staff! Definitely recommend and would stay here again.

Petra was a wonderful host, after traveling for months it is nice to encounter someone like her! You can tell she really puts a lot of love in this place. Breakfast was great, the bread was so yummy and also all the spreads (western style). The location is not the closest to the city center but it’s still in a busy street with many things to do (buy a SIM card, eat something, a gym…). We mostly took tuk tuks from there though. AC and all the basics were there so overall good price value! We also had a small fridge.

Liked everything

A perfect place to land as we began our trip in Cambodia. Petra was helpful, answering our many questions about Phnom Penh and Cambodia. Fresh markets and places to eat around the corner, and Mr Tomtom, drove us wherever we needed to go. We’ve already booked a return visit for a couple of nights at the end of our Cambodian stay.

I had a very nice stay at the Dutch hotel even if it was very short. I enjoyed the conversations with the Dutch owner who was very nice and welcoming. Sorry I didn't have the chance to come back as I planned.

The AC wasn't the best and not very cold. The room itself is a bit dated but, again, it was comfortable and clean.

Petra was a fantastic host who was very accommodating and made us feel very welcome with some lovely conversation. She even checked up on us when we left to make sure we arrived in Kampot safely. The included breakfast was very nice and convenient before our activities for the day. Also the accommodation was well located to visit S21, the Russian Market and the Killing Fields. The room itself was quiet and comfortable.

I felt absolutely welcomed and accompanied during my stay at this B&B. Petra's warm hospitality not only immersed me in Cambodian culture but also gave me a glimpse of her Dutch heritage. It was a truly delightful experience. The location was perfect - close to everything, well-connected, with convenient tuk-tuk services right at the door. The rooms were clean, and the internet was fast. But what truly made my stay special was the sense of warmth and belonging. This B&B felt like a hug. Petra's thoughtful touches and genuine care made me feel right at home. Highly recommend!

This is a great place to stay. We were greeted with a warm welcome, drinks, and smiles. It didn’t feel like a hotel but more like staying at your auntie's house. The rooms are clean and have a good bed. Petra also gave us excellent restaurant recommendations. Tom Tom, who works there, is always happy to drive you anywhere or help you book transport to places further afield. After a few days' trip to Kampot, we came back to stay here again. All in all, we loved staying at Auntie Petra's, and we would come back to Phnom Penh just for her!

The B&B was lovely, we were made to feel very welcome and at home. There is a nice common area to relax or meet other travellers. Breakfast was also very nice with toast, eggs and cereals. When my boyfriend lost his wallet Petra and Tom Tom were amazing, they helped us to call the bus company and even drove him to pick it up which was so kind. We had a great stay!

We loved everything about our stay, Petra was amazing from the very beginning. She had great communication and quickly made us feel at home whilst travelling. The breakfast was so good. Was a highlight of our time in Cambodia along with her hospitality, she made us feel so welcomed. The location was a quick stroll or grab to all that we needed but also was away from the very busy streets.

Petra is the sweetest host you can wish for in Phnom Penh. Her guesthouse is a true gem in the Cambodian capital. The rooms are spacious, clean and well equipped, there is filtered water for free in the communal area on the ground floor. The central location of the property makes for a perfect base to explore the city. Yet at nighttime you are spared from the traffic noise of the main street thanks to the location in a very quiet side street. The breakfast is served at a big long table which makes for such great conversations both with her guests and Petra herself. Cereals, toast, coffee, fruits-all included in the very reasonable room rate. Biggest asset nonetheless is Petra‘s warm hearted, caring manner in which she welcomes and treats her guests. Highly recommended, thanks for having us.
