How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

It's not right in the centre, but its easy to get there by tuk tuk and it's close to restaurants and some of the attractions, so that's not necessarily a bad thing.
Very welcoming B&B, we felt very comfortable and at home. Petra is a thoughtful and helpful host. Thanks for a great stay!

Wonderful warm welcome and great hosting by Petra and Mr TomTom. Airport pickup was very smooth, and I'm not sure we'd have traced our lost baggage without Mr Tomtom's help. Clean room, comfortable bed, big bathroom.

Petra is the perfect host, super friendly and always willing to help you. She also makes incredible Dutch snacks and cakes! The rooms are clean, comfortable and have everything you need. The location is fantastic, only a few minutes in a tuktuk from museums and markets. The driver Mr Tomtom is also super friendly and always on hand to give you a lift - they arranged pickup from the airport for us too. Our stay was so good that we tried to cancel a future booking to come back here, but unfortunately we couldn’t get our money back!

The host super supported with a warm welcome and the way her treat us like we stayed in our own home. Location right in the center of PP so that you can reach out to everywhere like malls, market.... Just anytime you need, there was a driver who always standby for your trip. Last but not least, the breakfast always available whenever you wake up. Much appreciated Mrs. Petra for your service. If you have no idea where to stay at PP, pls give it a try and I'm pretty sure that you won't regret it.

It’s basic, nothing fancy, but great value for money.
Petra was very kind. Room was very clean. Relaxed atmosphere. When is breakfast served? Whenever you wake up. I loved that. MrTomtom was helpful in getting a SIM card for my phone and changing money. We slept very well here, after a long flight.

We had three great stays in Phnom Penh. Petra and Mr.Tomtom are extremely helpful and lovely hosts. There was a family vibe in the B&B which we really appreciated. The rooms are comfortable and well equipped. Vegan breakfast could also be arranged with prior notice. We'll be back! Thank you :)

This is a unique property to stay in - more like a homestay than a hotel because of the welcome and helpfulness of the hostess with the mostest, Petra and her trusty factotum, Tom Tom (who pilots the property's tuk tuk and speaks good English). The building itself is a bit worn around the edges, however, there is a wonderful lounge / bar area on the ground floor, and the breakfasts (time is flexible here) are great. Our room on the second floor was clean with a shower with hot water, efficient air con and reliable wifi. The property is located about a 15 minute ride from the centre of town in a not terribly salubrious looking neighbourhood, however the overwhelming compensation here is the peple you will meet as Petra has crafted a sort of ex pat salon which meets once per week around the bar but also informally with people dropping in during the day. As a visitor one is guraranteed interesting conversations / observations about Cambodia, ASEAN, where to eat in PP, traveller's tales etc. Plenty of interesting restaurants / wine bars / coffee shops within walking distance. Unbeatable value for money. Unbeatable USP

A pleasant, well priced bed and breakfast in a quiet location. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable with a good size bathroom. The shower was electric with hot water aplenty! The owner, Petra and her Man Friday, TomTom, really are the dream team and nothing was too much trouble. TomTom also drives the hotels tuktuk which was remarkably well priced. There are good restaurants close by about which Petra is very happy to advise. It's a 15 minute stroll to the Russian Market.

Parts of the room particularly the bathroom were in a poor state. With a little TLC it could be much more.
Petra is definitely why you would want to stay here she is very kind and relaxed and gives a lovely breakfast

Not very clean, old towels, no drinking water. No sign outside to tell the driver the name of property. Very poor breakfast, overcooked fried egg and a piece of toast.

it’s close to a street of KTVs… which makes me cannot sleep until it’s closed in 2pm.

Our stay at Petra‘s place was unique, authentic and pure. if you’re looking for a little relaxation during your visit in the capital- this is the place to stay - also big thanks to the driver Tom Tom for all his kind help. Last but not least - don’t leave without trying some Dutch cakes you’ll love it
