The beds in the deluxe room are made of metal and bed sheets not great quality so basically the sheets were constantly giving us static electric mini shocks if we were moving on the bed, even a little. When it was dark you could even see "lightning ". Was really odd... No hot water in the bathroom at all in private room. Burnt bedsheets, dirty walls and doors. Food was fairly pricey for a hostel. The atmosphere was pretty odd. All sorts of people using illegal substances whilst you're having dinner...probably bought locally which I find very weird knowing the policy in Cambodia. There were some weird ppl, some still or already drunk in the morning. Not my scene let's just put it that way. Pool area is fairly unpleasant and overcrowded. Above mentioned weirdos hang around the pool during the day and in skybar at night. Some of the staff are nice but others just don't really give a damn. Breakfast only from 8am and dinner only till 8:30 . The centre is a decent walk away from the hotel. Last morning there was massive smoke somewhere at the back of the garden, not sure why but it came directly into our room so all our clothes now smell of smoke. You cannot use credit/debit card at all at the hostel so make sure to have CASH!

View from rooftop bar was nice, open mic night was good fun. The room was quiet. Khmer food was delicioslous. The hotel's surrounding is very green, lots of trees, lovely garden. The doggies and cats are lovely! 5 USD motor bike rental. Trips can be organised at reception and there's also laundry service.

The private room with en-suite and fans smelt like damp, had no air circulation and the bed was old and uncomfortable Was giving prison cell vibes would recommend you stay in a deferent room i heard they’re much better

The floor and locker area was really dirty and the bathroom was even worse. Mold on the fan and in the corner of the room. There was also mold *on the trashcan*. The trash was emptied at least once during my stay. The person responsible for that just left it with mold growing on top of it which really said a lot to me about their cleaning habits...

Nice Rooftop Bar with great activities (Karaoke, Qiuz Night...) in the evenings and good swimming pool. The beds are well separated in the dorms and cozy. The staff is really friendly and helpful, they helped me book the Pick Up for my Bus from a Café in town so that I could eat breakfast there and didnt have to come back to the hostel.

The room was very basic, which is ok for the price, yet some minor improvements like a bedside lamp and a better shower would have turned good into excellent. Also, the window bars felt unnecessary and spoilt the atmosphere a bit.

The pool and the area around the pool was really nice. Also, the upstairs bar/restaurant was lovely with a great view. Overall there was this relaxed countryside/hippy/backpackers vibe.

The friendliness of reception staff needs work. Do not stay in rooms 5-8 as this is where staff have their breakfast, lunch and dinner, their noise makes peacefulness in this building impossible. Selling of illegal substance over the bar is weird, especially for travellers going back to countries with strict rules.

I booked this place because I liked how the dorms looked like, but I end up in one that is completelly different and not so good. My bed didn't have curtains. If I knew about this, I'll probably didn't book this place. It's far from the town, so you always need to rent a motorbike to move around or you walk 25mins. As it's far from the town, if you wake up early you need to wait until they open the bar. The town has restaurants that are open early.

Dorms were badly maintained and constantly stank of urine. I understand most hostels are basic, basic is fine. Unhygienic being a different story… + huge spiders in the outside dorms. Eventually switched to a private room which was really lovely. Completely different experience compared to the dorms.

Nice social atmosphere, great pool and bar area. If you’re determined to stay in a hostel you likely will not find anything better in the area.

The lockers were bad because the beds were too close together and you couldn’t even go into ur own one if someone else was there. the bathroom was insanely small and shower was over the toilet. Not particularly social.

The motorcycles and excellent staff help with those and lessons. The pool was nice. rooftop was vibes but location a bit far from center.

The mattress was super soft/saggy and the bed was squeaking with every movement. There was only one plug in the room where the adapter always fell out. I had a room towards the street and it was quite noisy in the morning - not a problem for me but might be for people with light sleep. Scooter rental only works with passport as collateral.

Best part or the hostel was definitely the roof top. it has a great Happy Hour, food is good and it’s a great place to meet new people. Also the pool was nice, wasn’t cleanest but good to cool down after a long day. You can refill your water bottles at reception.

the staff doesn’t care and it’s rude. the dorm is right be the side of reception so a lot of noise really early. the pool is nice but in the 3 days I was there was full of people that where not even staying, many of them drunk and loud. the location is not super far but still a bit to walk to the center. I definitely wouldn’t stay here again

it’s a good property with a nice garden and pool. they have cheap scooters for rent

The foreign staff working there has a bit of an attitude and not very friendly. They give you kind of vibes "i am so cool that live here'

The place has lost of activities going on. Sunday - quiz night; Friday open mic etc The pool is nice and the garden too. But the dorms are super small.and a bit run down. No curtains on the top beds those at the bottom are so hanging lose that lots of light go through.

Sleeping area was spacious but few open vents in bathroom allowed quite a few bugs into the room.

The food was excellent and the staff were super helpful in helping us plan the next part of our journey. Nice pool and fun rooftop area kept clean and organised.

I find that the reception staff are not very welcoming. Not unfriendly but not very inclined to inform or discuss. For example when I inquired to go to Koh Rong, I was advised to take a taxi even though the road was terrible and I did not know it, result I missed the ferry because we arrived too late. The other backpackers I was in the room with thought the same thing. Maybe a little more warmth, enthusiasm and some good advice on places to visit would be nice :) No offense

Although the environment is cool and safe the door rooms don't have key to lock. One of the staff members entered my room whitout knocking while I was naked, he wanted to confirm some details from my reservation. I didn't feel comfortable at all on that scenario

The rooms are very clean, spacious. You have a cute swimming pool, where you can hang out, meet people and enjoy the views. I had a few really fresh and good meals there. I totally recommend dragon fruit smoothie (: Tuesday tacos organized by the hostel is a lovely night that allows you to meet people n' enjoy the vibes.

The dorms were old and quite run down. The bunks squeak and move with whoever you are sharing with. Should look at modernising as its such a great hostel otherwise

great spot for solo traveler’s, really nice friendly atmosphere. a touch out of the main town so best if you can drive a scooter. staff are incredible, food was really good too.

We extended our stay so stayed in both a 5 bed and 8 bed dorm, we felt the 5 bed room was considerably better. The 8 bed rooms are in need of a re-camp, plugs broken & only 1 shared toilet and shower.

We loved the pool & rooftop bar, all the staff were super friendly and lovely. Great activities for meeting people.

By far one of the best hostels we’ve stayed in, it feels like a hotel with a hostel vibe. The hosts are brilliant, they welcome you and make you feel like family. I can’t recommend Karma traders enough.
