Housekeeping inconsistent, food not very good, overpriced - 2 star resort but one of the more expensive stays in koh rong

The Hotel would require some renovations particularly the bathrooms. It is relatively expensive - but everything is on a smaller Island. It seems that the owners only care about the beach surrounding the resort. If you move a couple 100m away the beaches can be dirty. Sometimes there are plastic Bags in the water. Beides that the water is clean.

Location on the beach is very nice. The breakfast is good. The shakes to order are great. It is a good Option if you don't want to spend crazy Money.

The bar staff never ventured onto the beach to ask if you wanted a drink or something to eat. You had to go to bar and order and they would bring out to you. Air conditioning struggled to get room cool in the evening. Beware cashew fruit falling from the trees. Staff try to bring the fruit down before it falls.

Initial room was sub standard and unusable as toilet seat broken and would not flush . Lin moved us the next day to a better room.

Absolutely overpriced, not worth it! We paid 140 usd for a bunker without any nightstand or reading lamp. Only a spotlight in the ceiling. Old small rusty pool with breaking tiles. Poor breakfast. Choose something else.

Wifi was not good, Lot of noise from other bars in the neighbourhood. The food in the restaurant had no taste compared to all the nice food we could eat on our travels for East-Asia. The place is a bit rundown. Too expensive compared to the quality that you get. But the beach is perfect.

we had hot water problem in the bathroom but the hotel staff compensated us for this, the drainage was cloged, lots of mosquitos, I suggest you put a mosquito repellent in the rooms. the hotel getting older and needs more maintenance especially in the bathrooms

Restaurant could have been a LOT better. Food and drinks were all very expensive and absolutely did not match the quality. Menu is really nothing special. We had the cheapest dish on the menu, which was fried noodles, and they were mushy, covered in fake sweet chilli sauce. Breakfast buffet was also of a low quality - cheap, fake croissants and bread, etc. Also disturbing was the amount of PLASTIC used in the restaurant. Each drink we had had not only one but TWO plastic straws. Only two small plastic bottles of water were supplied in the room - it should be standard practice in all hotels that guests can refill water bottles. So unnecessary and wasteful. Also, they hosted a giant karaoke in the restaurant on the Saturday night, which meant that we chose NOT to eat dinner there. Not acceptable!

Stunning beach, located right next to the pier. Pool looked lovely although we prefer to swim in the ocean. Beach was spotless and well-maintained. Room was very spacious, clean and comfortable with a huge bed, but very strange design decisions - such as the glass doors separating the bathroom!?!

The room was a bit worn out. It was quite clean, but you could tell it is all a bit outdated and there were some (permanent) stains all over the place. Also not all food is great, but as long as you go for more local food it is really good. Also breakfast was ok - fresh cooked eggs!

Some of the staff were pretty unhelpful. When we arrived, we weren't given any information about the hotel's facilities or the island in general. It wasn't until our last day that we realised we could use the hotel's paddle boards and kayaks for free. Whenever we asked staff at reception for something, it almost felt like we were a nuisance to them for even asking them a question, which was pretty unwelcoming. There was definitely a language barrier which didn't help. In my opinion, the service was incredibly lacking and not up to the standard of a 4* hotel.

The beach was absolutely beautiful and the sunbeds provided by the hotel were great. After seeing a few other beaches on the island, Long Set was definitely the best. The breakfast was quite good and the beds in the room were comfortable. Our room was cleaned regularly and fresh beach towels were provided by the hotel every day which was an added bonus. The food from the hotel restaurant was nice (although on the pricier side) and the cocktails were delicious!

The price doesn't match the accommodation and facilities. We splashed out for this accommodation and it was probably our least favourite stay in south-east Asia. The food is awful, try and eat elsewhere if you can. The staff aren't very friendly or helpful and the rooms are fine (eg small and have all the basic things you need).

The location is incredible. The resort is sitting right on a picturesque beach with nice beach chairs and outdoor settings.

Needs improvement The quality, cost and service in the restaurant was shocking. During our 4 night stay, the menu which was already one of the most pricey on the beach, was reprinted and all of the prices increased again. Not by a little- a lot of items jumped by $3, and a portion of fries was 35% more expensive. That coupled with the quality and presentation being average at best meant that we declined to eat there any more. Go literally 500m up the beach to Beachwalk- really well presented, quality food that is $4 or $5 cheaper. The service in the bar restaurant was continually slow The grounds and aspects of the room need improvement and just general cleaning/maintaining. Understandable that covid has had an impact, but to expect to be charging $100 a night for a small room, with the shower hanging off the wall, multiple plug sockets not working and insufficient pillows/bedding just isn’t on I regret not booking one of the other hotels on the beach that were half the price, and from visiting them seemed to be superior. We’ve spent the last couple of weeks touring Koh Rong and Koh Rong Sanloem staying at various levels of hotels which represented much better value for money

small things were made into an issue which to be fair the guy at the desk told us he was new and maybe just was unsure on how things worked. we went on a tour which was different to what we were told, I had an extra breakfast which I was happy to pay for but they tried to made us pay for another meal that was more expensive.

The doors to the room is a sliding door, that is very noisy when windy. The staff, while extremely polite and friendly, either did not communicate with each other or failed simple requests. I ordered breakfast 3 times, 2 times it was wrong. I recieved the wrong bill on 2 separate occasions, and the room was not cleaned during the time we requested it. For me, it failed to deliver a 4* hotel service. While the staff are amazingly fun and nice, I think re-training is needed to impress guests.

It is right on the beach, and super close to the pier. Staff was extremely friendly and nice, really helpful with arrival and departure. The food was reasonably priced and extremely tasty (for a 4* resort).

the staffs were very welcoming and friendly, they helped you arrange ferry ticket everything, they picked you up at the ferry port and helped you with luggages. the location is in the best spot of long set beach.
