How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The staff was outstanding throughout our stay, with excellent service. The facilities and room were all very modern. We were very happy just relaxing by the pool and have some drink most days.

Loved this hotel stay so much❣️❣️ This was truly a nice hotel experience and i cant say enough how accommodating and just sweet people the staff are. It was cleanly, very pleasantly decorated, nice pool, comfy bed, just everything I could ask for.

The room was very clean and comfortable, loved the design come sofa, balcony and overview to the swimming pool. The pool is clean we can order drink as well. The reception helped us to book the motorbike rental during our stay. Will come to stay here again.

Was a great stay here with my partner. The hotel is very beautiful, we loved the taste of cafe. The breakfast also great and dinner we also can order in advance. The hotel manager is really helpful and care about our stay.

Much cheaper to rent scooter in town, otherwise everything was great!
Very comfortable bed, breakfast was good, lots of choices. Cambodian coffee included or you can buy latte etc. Very clean in rooms and pool. Beautiful landscaping, pond has giant koi fish. Excellent staff and manager Mr Lam. He really cares about customer experience. Rooms have smart tv, netflix etc.

Super clean and comfortable rooms. The location is just about 5-10 minutes to the center. Peaceful place to stay in Kampot and feel like home away from home, staffs very friendly and helpful.

Very limited food options - especially breakfast was a bit disappointing. Location outside main area but only 5/10 min tuk tuk into town. Wi-fi not working first day but that was fixed a few hours later More beds around the pool could be an idea
It was a beautiful hotel with lovely rooms and facilities inside. Front desk staff were exceptional. Provided us with tours for quad biking and kayaking at sunset - highly recommend doing this. Drink service by pool

The hotel was very relaxing! The staff are amazing and very helpful they couldn’t do enough for us during our stay! Sopheak Dorn gave us great advice and tips for our trip! We would love to return and will do when we revisit Kampot. Can not recommend this place enough!!!

Internet is a little slow.

It’s was a pleased stay here. The staff was very nice and helpful. The room is clean and comfortable. The location is 10-15min by tuk tuk to the city but it’s hidden in a paradise.

The hotel is exceptionally clean especially the room as it is a new hotel. The wifi was great and the location is a bit away from the town but if we are looking at peace, then this is it. The only missing thing was the breakfast. Not much options.

New and luxurious hotel in Kampot. Place feels like a tranquil rainforest and the staff is helpful and friendly in any way. The manager gave us a warm welcome and we would definitely come back here. Rooms are large and the beds sleep lovely. To the town center its only 5 minutes with a tuktuk.

The shower and the bath (outside) both only had cold water and poor water pressure, not really acceptable for the price that you pay. Also you have to go in the bath in swimwear, because there is no privacy. The bathtub also slowly drained, the stop did not work properly. The swimmingpool had mostly shadow because of the trees/buildings. It is far away from town but the restaurant closes early. Also breakfast is only untill 9, I think 10 would be better. Netflix was not working on the smart tv. Also there is a big front garden for the room but no chairs or something.
Big room and a very good bed. Staff is always busy cleaning or helping someone, they are very nice.
