Given the strong efforts from the rest of the island to reduce waste, and the high standards of the rooms, I was quite disappointed to see that the resort doesn’t put refillable glass bottles in the rooms, but instead provide plastic bottles. However I believe that this could be easily fixed since I already seen that they are using refillable shampoo and soap instead of single-use bottles! 👌 Given as well the strong emphasis to promote local products and handcrafts in their resort (which I really like, especially all the silk items!), I would love to see that the restaurant provide a locally produced infusions for breakfast instead of the industrial Lipton tea.

A small gem in Koh Trong island! The rooms are absolutely beautiful! The view on the bamboos from the window is very relaxing. You can hear the birds chanting. The gardens are very well taken care of given the size of the property! Definitely recommend this place for couples looking for a some luxury experience on the Mekong.

Staff was a bit clueless and management seemed to ignore guests. A few things could be better managed: offering free private boat (instead of 15 usd) so guests don’t have to wait, larger breakfast. The villa was breezy but lack of AC could be a problem in hot season. It could be an amazing luxury stay but a few things were lacking

Nothing … there wasn’t a safe in the rooms but this was a minor problem as the resort had an office safe.

Staff was nice but careless (stuck on their phone) Swimming pool under maintenance without telling customers Access so complicated and communication about it difficult.

The resort could be amazing because genuinely authentic Khmer habitat. But off season I do not recommend it was deserted and poorly maintained.

The food was not the best, but was to be expected in this remote location. We were charged on check out for shuttle transfers to and from the ferry dock which we were not told about prior. The pool was very warm (bath water temp), but it was lovely to swim in after being caught in the monsoon rains! Fans and mosquito nets in the room were sufficient, but possibly air conditioning would be expected for the price.

The architecture and resort layout was beautiful. The rooms were clean and well appointed with lovely furnishings.

It's difficult to communicate and arrange things here. There are a few people who speak English enough to arrange tours or figure out travel/boat times, etc, and if they're around it's great, but if they're not you need patience. We stayed in a villa and for the price, it was too hot. I have stayed in cheap bungalows and rooms in SEA and they have fans for when you're sleeping. This building is dark and in the sun all day and the ceiling fan is not enough. The room was in the 40s when I was trying to sleep and it wasn't ok. I didn't sleep at all. If they would just give you more fans it would be ok! For the price it makes no sense. They have fans in the restaurant and main building that isn't for guests...

The location is stunning. The island is beautiful and the grounds are stunning. The buildings are beautiful and spacious and it's lovely to have a tub! The people here are very nice and the food is delicious. it's super great to have breakfast included and to have a ride to and from the boat-- walking the stretch through the hot sand that everyone else has to looks miserable with bags. The pool is huge and it's amazing to have the pool!

Beautiful old Khmer houses on an Island. Huge rooms, comfortable, no air-con on purpose therefore quite hot during the night.

The travel arranged from Kratie to Kampot should have been clearer as we ended up using a shared taxi with 10 other people and a motorbike and a chicken : it was fast but not so comfortable. It s ok but you have to be ready for this kind of experience.

Super quiet, thé location and place is amazing. The staff is super nice and helpful. The restaurant is very good and prices are within normal range for Cambodia.

Be on time to catch a ferry!

Wonderful location and delicious food! - we had a lot of fun! Renting motorbikes to discover the island! Spending your time in the resort was Sonntag much more fun, then trying to watch the Mekong dolphins! Highly recommended!

Some of the finished and furnishings were a bit tired. The pool was very warm...not really refreshing.

Amazing staff and a truely unique location. Traditional villas were delightful.

Pool was a little too warm and needed some attention to black algae in tile grout lines, and could also do with new concrete surrounds.

Food was very well done! With some pre-warning, they catered beautifully for our Good Fri feast with a whole Mekong fish and all the trimmings. The staff worked very hard to make our stay enjoyable, especially during Khmer New Year when staff were light on.

A very special place with great traditional wooden houses as rooms. Really loved the place. Something different and very well done. Tasteful, artful, very spacious and comfortable rooms. An atmosferic open restaurant with good food. Large pool. All in a beautiful setting on the quiet island in front of Kratie. A great place to stay!
