Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

SpainThe Area: The hotel is located in a very remote area, making it an ideal spot for a complete disconnect. However, reaching the hotel from the city costs around $12-15 USD by car. Tuk-tuks are not available here, so your only options for getting around are bicycles, motorbikes, or a car with a driver provided by the hotel. Sihanoukville is not a typical tourist destination, so prices are much higher compared to Siem Reap or Phnom Penh. There are only two massage centers, which were difficult to locate, and most locals don’t speak English. Restaurants are scarce, and there are no English menus available. The Hotel: The property consists of attractive villas split into two separate areas about 500 meters apart. The pool villas are in the main area, while the garden villas are located outside. In the standard villa area, there’s no mobile network coverage, but the Wi-Fi works fine, albeit slow by European standards. The mattresses are "Thai style." The overall environment is cozy and perfect for meditation. A peaceful, empty beach is just 10 minutes away, and there’s also a stunning temple nearby, one of the most serene I’ve ever visited. Since there are no restaurants in the vicinity, the only dining option is the hotel menu, which offers six basic dishes, primarily rice or vegetables. I’d recommend the manager consider adding noodle or soup options to the menu. The garden villas lack chaise lounge chairs, which makes it less comfortable to relax. I requested one, and they kindly provided it (thank you so much for that!), but I strongly encourage the owner to purchase some for all garden villas. Unfortunately, buying one yourself isn’t an option due to the non-touristic nature of the area. Drinking water is always available. The Beach: The beach is completely empty, which is a plus, but it’s dirty and plagued with sandflies that are relentless in their attacks.

South AfricaEverything was truly amazing. Looks exactly like pictures . Staff is amazing and very accommodating. Very kind . Just distance but worked around that . If you like to eat food a lot, grocery run is needed into town . Luckily staff gave pots and utensils. Granted it is meant to be a getaway spot ;)

ItalyYou should arrive during daytime... We arrived after sundown and for the taxi driver it was difficult to find the resort because the road is not illuminated and therefore the signs can be overseen easily...
The property itself is really great, the manager and the staff are both very friendly, helpful and professional in every way. The food served in the restaurant is a bit basic but tasty. If you stay at this property, it is best to have a car because Sihanoukville is about 25 km far away and surrounding this great resort you find just pure nature...

EgyptAre you kidding me...NO
I have travelled the world and I have never seen anything like this. It is elegant well built and is absolutely stunning. Some rooms even have their own swimming pool. The room was very large. Where else would you see that. If that place was anywhere else you would be paying,$600 to $1200 PER NIGHT. The staff were magic also. The wfi was sensational.

GermanyI suggest the upper street to the resort, you cannot drive on the street near the beach. It is horrible, we did with a tuck tuck, it was horrible
It is far from the city, so it was very quiet like we want it. The staff helped us a lot. for example we could check in earlier than usual because our bus arrived earlier than expected.

RussiaI rested at the YAHOO Dream hotel in early May, flew to Phnom Penh at night, the hotel offered and organized a transfer in advance, the price is lower than taxi offers, which is very pleasant. In general, I want to note the loyalty of the hotel and the staff, all my tasks were solved very quickly: from changing rooms to renting a car. You just have to voice the problem and here is the solution. This is not my first time in Cambodia, I have something to compare with, I have stayed in hotels of different levels and none had such a loyal attitude towards guests. I am a comfort person, I own a service business myself and attention to customers is essential for me, so I always evaluate and emphasize customer service in the places I visit. Next to the hotel there is an insanely beautiful beach, wild, but insanely beautiful: blue water, white sand, everything as we love)) You can get to the beach by bike, which is also provided by the hotel. The villa I lived in had a swimming pool, every morning opening my eyes, I took a step and dived into the pool, nothing is as energizing as a morning pool in hot Cambodia. The hotel provides several breakfast options, I took a traditional American one. The hotel is quiet and secluded, but nevertheless it is a great option to come here with a company. Each villa is private, which is also a big plus

United KingdomI didn’t like that there were about 6 items to choose from for room service (the restaurant was closed so we had to watsapp to order our meal. We didn’t get a reply despite messaging and even calling. Eventually we asked the gardener so he rang the staff and we managed to order some food. The food wasn’t great. We came in to reception when we arrived and was then driven in a tuktuk to our room with us a good 15 minute walk away from reception. We were in the middle of nowhere and were quite hungry. It wasn’t ideal. Although the room was very clean and comfortable and the receptionist and other staff were very nice.
The staff were very nice people. The room was very clean and the bath outside was lovely.
