It was lovely, the views were gorgeous and the rooms were big with en suites and air con. The only thing that was a killer was getting up the insane amount of steps with my big backpack on. Staff were lovely and I would defo recommend here.

Only stayed for a night on the way to Koh Rong Sanloem but had a nice experience. The way up is no joke, a real workout 😄 The double room was spacious and clean. Up in the bar you can do cash out for only 6% which is lower than any other place in the village.

The staff could come across a little cliquey or standoffish

Nice cool dormitories and lovely views from the bar. You can pay with card for an extra 5% which is a bit high, but if you are a guest and set up a tab then you get enough discounts (10% off food orders and all day gappy hour deals) to offset this. Was happy with my stay.

you have to go long stairs up to check in or get to your room. if you carry a big suitcase with you that would be a little bit difficult. and there's no room service during our 3 days stay

good location. very close to the pier and restaurants. it's on the top of a tiny mountain so is relatively quiet in such a noisy area full of pubs. there is a bar with good sea view .room facility is new and nice

A super comfortable bed with the best view in the village, tasty food and great cocktails and the staff were really lovely and welcoming. Can't wait to stay here again!!

The manager wasn’t the nicest, and the prices were quite high (almost double than the city). My guess is that they use the fact people won’t go down in all of those stairs just for water so the take 1.5$ instead of 0.75$… same about food. NOTICE if you have a disability you cannot stay there. There are more than 100 stairs you should take every time you want to go to the dorms.

Just a warning even as a heavy sleeper, if you are starting in the private rooms up the stairs, the cockerels make a really loud noise from about 3:30am and this goes on for hours.

The property was very clean, good location, great AC and the staff were lovely. We loved our time here.

If there is mosquito repellent would be great Need to go through a long and bit high stairs before access to the bar, I am okay with it as I acknowledge before I book this accommodation Price a little bit expensive to compare with other hostel

Lots of steps can be a pain when it's hot, but also I kind of appreciated the exercise after being lazy at the beach all day.

You need to be prepared for noises (roosters, loud music) so get ear plugs. Few power cuts happened which could be expected on the island. Also we had to ask few times for cleaning the room and getting a toilet paper. Felt like customer service was a bit too relaxed. Also be prepared for the steps!

The room was spacious, good toilet facilities. We extended our stay for couple extra days because we traveled around the island by scooter and price for the room was good.

The stairs up to the top are abit brutal please consider this when booking, other then that it’s worth every penny

Everything was exceptional. The cottage was simple but comfortable and spotlessly clean - exactly what we needed. Nestled in the heart of paradise, it’s impossible to have a bad experience here. The walk up the stairs for check-in, carrying two bags after a long day of travel in the Cambodian heat, was definitely an adventure - but absolutely worth it. At the top, there’s a fantastic sky bar with great food, refreshing drinks, and a breathtaking view. You can’t help but feel pure happiness there :)

This is probably our least favourite stay so far, perhaps because we are used to the outstanding hospitality of the local people. Unfortunately skybar didn’t meet our expectations. - No windows in the rooms. This means during the regular power cuts you are in complete darkness, and also there is no fresh air flow in the rooms. - We were aware that it would be noisy however during events this noise makes it impossible to be in the rooms, very headache inducing! -Whilst for the majority of the time staff are nice, there were occasions where they felt very cliquey and even had a shouting match late at night- overall there is a lack of professionalism -Rooms are only cleaned when new people check in, therefore bathroom was getting pretty gross towards the end of our stay. eg no toilet roll, and sand all over the floor due to poor drainage. Its okay if you need somewhere last min, but defo not our top pick!

You have to ask for housekeeping, no shampoo or body wash etc. there was a window in our bathroom that anyone could look into and watch us shower. No fridge, safe or water. Most of the staff are nice however one made me feel extremely uncomfortable when ordering at the bar or requesting anything. I was made to feel like an inconvenience. Our door didn’t close properly and there was a gap between the door and door frame. There is also a gap around the window in the bathroom. As a result all the mosquitos and geckos get in the room which isn’t great. Toilet is completely stained and not pleasant. WiFi is awful and doesn’t work at all most of the time. Everywhere else on the island that has WiFi it has worked perfectly. The towels we were given were not clean. Food at the restaurant takes an extremely long time to come most of the time

The view is nice and the food at the restaurant is also nice. They have a good selection of games and a pool table. The bed was big and comfy.

I paid for a place that I can use wifi but I was there for 2 nights and there was no internet connection or poor one. It was really bad. Also the dorm was down the bar and seal was not soundproof so it's not possible to sleep before they close the bar because even walking people made horrible noises down
